I think they manipulate probability of drop rates based on money that you have spend on the game. Lets say if you have spend until 100$ it is 5% if it is between 100 -1000 it is 10% and so on. Obviously there should be a limit where spending money does not increase your drop rates for ex: at 15%. Or may be for legend pass holders drop rates are slightly higher than those that does not have. I feel like Gameloft has right to make that decision and give an hidden advantage for those who spend money. What do you think Adam?
So... I have worked in ecommerce all my adult life and have written search algorithms and personalised recommendation algorithms. I agree that GL have the right to do what you are saying and may have experimented... however I think they also really care about fairness in the game, and if you can't make a significant difference to spending through deceptive mechanisms then it would be really unwise to do so. In the future gaming like this will likely be regulated and given GLs attitude towards cheating I really don't believe they bother manipulating the odds on loot boxes for any personalised criteria. That said I used to get paranoid that drop rates got worse just when I needed the car and a money pack was there, but that again is kind of because of something called cognitive bias.

This is my only car I won from it's grand prix originally, with 9 grand prix packs only. I'm glad I won it with dumb luck because I can do C class Elite with it (Also I am at 3* so far)
There's no way you made it from 2 stars to nearly 5 stars without buying packs. The drop rate is so low you can waste the 10 event tickets without getting 1 bp and you have to wait 2 hours to have it refill again.

I got it from 0 stars to only needing 15 bps for 5 star now. Just play every 1.5 hours, watch ads for tickets and use free refill. Also buy tickets with tokens (I spent about 300 ish). Definately doable.

Nice runs. I agree that it doesn't matter what D Class car one uses as long as it fulfills the parameter for the rewards. In this event, like in the Acura NSX Evo car hunt, I get raced harder on Windows 11 than you do on your system. I have to KD as much of the field as possible because they all come in at sub 40 and I try to maximise my return by being 1st as much as possible. Not all Car Hunts are that way. One tricvk I have is using the nitro early on to get close to the one in front on the right with the left one to the left then, 360 to get rid of both with one stunt. Sometimes I manage to get the third one, too - hahaha - sometimes have to be 2nd. Also, the cars are so fast on my system that one has to really go like crazy or even after being KD'ed, they'll catch up and pass, so any mistakes or delays will cost one positions. The cars can catch up so hard that they'll be sub 40 even after being KD'ed.. It gets annoying sometimes....
well like many others i use a mouse recorder and automate the races, when i need a d car to get the 3 cards, i only bother with the de tense, 5 races, then 8 ads to get the event tickets, when its full the de tense is ready to race again, i only need that one car to do the whole hunt.. with hunts that require a c car, i use two c cars both above and below each other, 5 races followed by 11 ads to get event tickets, 5 races on the second car followed by 11 more ads for event tickets, when its full the first car is refuelled and ready to go and the cycle continues,
GL don't like botting, or screen recorder use. I think it is against the rules, but I'm sure lots of people use them. I don't, but enjoy hunts that can be farmed without pressing many buttons 😂
When's this car hunt coming back? I've been playing regularly since late 2021, so about 13 months or so, but i don't recall ever seeing a 599XX car hunt. It's impressive that you got yours from 2* to 5*, and unlocked it within 1 car hunt, with a car that was barely upgraded no less. A few months ago there was an Aston Martin Vantage GT12 car hunt. I was still 6 bp's away from unlocking it when the car hunt began, but I managed to grind it to 5* within that week, with a little help from 2,250 tokens worth of card packs (3x 10 packs), which netted me 15 extra bp's.

i thought ats was the same way,so i didnt bother to play for the key,then this car hunt came,and realized that ats key wasnt one race, i lost one and half day of tickets from ferrari hunt to get ats key :(. so far i ve spend 300 tokens at refills and i am 16 bps away from 4 star this car... so sad. and i have all the ats token races to do as well, this happens when u r lazy

It is not possible without spending tokens to get from 0 to 5 stars... unless you have some glitch giving you infinite adverts for event tickets... which I do not.

So the 599xx does need to be seated up to beat 40 sec , It seems I have plenty time after last turn make the jump for bottle then the car just slows down. 40 sec without algorithms or whatever maxxed 1 star can do it

I didn't buy any packs for that car, so left it at 2 stars and can't get a key. I think you need to play more, the chance is probably 2%, so 30-100 races... 100 races if really really unlucky, less than 50 most likely

i had an ad glitch once and was able to 5 star a car but it got fixed and it was region defined
