No we should not make better time else they select ur best time to get into the better tiers
U can collect ur rewards within the time u made
Make ur car to 2* if u are skilled enough to beat top 5
Another tip is doing the real final round run AS LATE AS POSSIBLE so ppl cannot expect u to come
My best strategie is to collect the BPs at the beginning but still driving the lowest possible time which gets you most likely in tier 3. And I normally upgrade the cars to 2 stars as soon as possible when the relay packs are good (I avoid those of the Zonda R for example)
It's fine u 2* and getting to tier 3
If you Really want to save lots of tokens
For amazing cars
And you want to have grand prix cars
For collection
This trick would help you.
Otherwise you can definitely spend and get into better tiers 🙂

Tier system is based on ur time which u made during the qualifier and practice
Game takes the best time And put u in the suitable tier
How gl actually calculate the tier?
Gl Knows what is the best time player made and worst time and player made
They calculate and split it into 5 parts and make it as time zone whatever time lies in 1st part would be tier 1

Not recommended to get into tier 5 due to pro sandbaggers and whalers. Safest tier is tier 4 and 3

Need to play for that skillfully
And focus on the top 1 key
And don't trust key packs because 99% it fools u

It depends on the best time players make chances are 50/50 in my opinion to be in lower tier 2 or higher tier 3
