I understand that slavery happened and it was awful, but if you're still using slavery trauma as a crutch, that's weak. My grandma lived through segregation, lived through it. Turned away from places because she's black. Wanna know what she did? She remained strong, worked her ASS OFF, and was the supervisor of the shipping dept at Ford Motors in our town making over $100k a year. We have NO EXCUSE. period.

to not see color doesn't mean we don't know that racism exists the modern way to say we don't see "racism." it means we don't judge you based on your color. its a modern interpretation to use that as an excuse. It means we think all lives matter. that we believes no one should be judged on in the first person.
Blue and brown eyes is usually heterochromia, not contact lenses. Different coloured eyes in the same person. Which is a nice metaphor in itself.
