In general, the TI units are faster in response to inputs. This is seen when quickly switching between sonar, downscan, chart, and split screens th-cam.com/users/postUgkxeAxH15LxhjGlg5-CRYqjTGTEH0tbY4vk recommend The Hook units will show some lag on button pushes and screen switching. The big ticket item though is maps. If you install a mapping card such as Navionics or the free C-Map Genesis which has a lot of map detail, then moving around the map with the cursor or when running down the lake can lag significantly on the Hook units, but is seamless with the TI units.
Yeah kayak fishing and jetski fishing sure has come a long way in recent times. The demand is really growing. Its not everyones cup of of tea but i like mixing up ways of hitting the water.
Yeah both are epic options. I love my hobie kayak in PPB its epic but the ability to zip around in a jet ski and fish heaps of different areas is also epic. Tough choice.
Picked mine up 2 weeks ago. Only dislike is having the navigation on right hand side. Every time you want to set a way point or anything u have to take hand off the throttle. Hopefully they make a left hand mount option
Yeah massive stock shortages into the country unfortunately which is a real shame. Looking like mid Jan from what i have heard. But exciting times ahead thats for sure
Yeah getting them into the country has been a real challenge for most dealers nationally. Was supposed to be huge shipment mid December which has been held up by all reports. Ive been told by a few dealers that a lot of stock is expected mid January.
Its a make from 1969 one of the first seadoos ever made in Australia. The first one was in 1968. There's only a few left in the world apparently, can be seen in the Melb sedoo show room. Hope that helps.
I'm more interested in how Melbourne Sea Doo got their RXT's so early. I'm in Perth and I pre ordered a few months ago and I am still waiting. Hopefully this week.
I heard some people say that they are having problems with the IDF on the Fish Pros going in neutral and having to get towed back, I just bought one of these things and haven't had it out yet, I hope I didn't buy a piece of junk.
I'd deal with Marriott's in Leongatha instead of Melbourne seadoo. Marriott's honoured heaps of accessories and upgrades on my new seadoo and saved $3250 🤙🏼
100% back the trailer into the water and away you go. Just need a good 4WD and practice with beach launches which can be a little tricky. Also often see guys launching at ramps than coming into the beaches for some fun and than reheading out.
Hey Phil, Personally id get a boat. LOL. You can buy some really nice boats for that budget. Quintrex have some great options within that price point. I have a few mates that love the jetski for fun and fishing. They would prob go a jetski first.
Yeah ive just heard of a massive stock shortage overnight from most dealerships. Also a big shipping issue getting them in the country. Its a real shame especially before Christmas
Fall off in 20 feet deep of water and try to get back on....great marketing idea for seadoo with the fish and sail but we 60 year olds need a proper ladder.....I don’t want to die from hypothermia.
You can buy a high quality rib boat of that size in 7k usd, is safer, you get more room, way more lighter and you will spend 75% of gas less in each trip, fishing jetskis is an stupid fashion

I've been fishing for 40 years, seen all sorts of gimmicks come and go. I' actually really excited about this one. Sign me up.
Yeah, they are very cool. Not for everyone, but i think lots of fun.
Twenty years ago, the thought of fishing from a kayak or jetski was pretty much non-existant. To see how they're kitted out now is quite amazing.
Yeah kayak fishing and jetski fishing sure has come a long way in recent times. The demand is really growing. Its not everyones cup of of tea but i like mixing up ways of hitting the water.
Cheering from Mexico!! Love the content and love my far away neighbors down under
Awesome !!! Thank you and good morning Mexico
Awesome video Alan👍. The Fish Pro's look so good with the new colour scheme.
Thanks Jared. Yeah some very nice improvements. Some stuff from overseas models didn't quite make it into the first batch of Aussie ones released.
Just picked mine up two days ago up in Redding Commiefornia, great boat !
Fantastic, some exciting times ahead
So tempted to get a jetski for fishing in ppb, either that or a kayak
Yeah both are epic options. I love my hobie kayak in PPB its epic but the ability to zip around in a jet ski and fish heaps of different areas is also epic. Tough choice.

Great video! I ordered one in September and still have at least a month to wait. It's going to be awesome!
Yeah massive stock shortages into the country unfortunately which is a real shame. Looking like mid Jan from what i have heard. But exciting times ahead thats for sure
The green and yellow is what made me want to get a fish pro over modding s GTI
Called around WA a few weeks ago. Mid June with the waiting list at the moment 🤷♂️

I’m looking at buying one with the idf and the stereo
What’s retro looking yellow ski in the background at 06:10?

Glad to see someone got theres I'm still waiting for mine to.come in
Yeah they have been pretty difficult to soucre, ive only seen a handful come in the country to date.
I heard some people say that they are having problems with the IDF on the Fish Pros going in neutral and having to get towed back, I just bought one of these things and haven't had it out yet, I hope I didn't buy a piece of junk.
No side scanning on the Garmin with the Fish Pro. The hull mount transducer doesn't support it.
Thanks !! Yeah we noted this as an error. And will look to update
Hows the handling in rough sea if I got caught in sudden change of weather conditions.
Driving back against waves or riding with the waves?? Beam seas
Fantastic review!
Thank you Steve !!
Do u get any water in the motor capartment or dose it stay dry herd it was a problem please let me know
And Seadoo still have no draining for the foot wells...
I'm still trying to find out how shallow you can take off with these
Very shallow, often see guys just driving them straight off the trailer at boat ramps. Ive fished in spots in 1 meter deep and been OK
Where do you fit the "fishing mad" artwork ?
Good questions, id probably do large custom fishingmad decals all over it.
I went to that sea doo. To buy a sea doo gtx 230 and it was good pretty cheap. No one had it on stock except this dealer
Stock is a massive issue in Aus at the moment. Most dealers not expecting stock until Mid January. Glad you found one
Do you have to buy a.map card for the garman
I’d love one but living in Pt Lincoln I’d be to worried about it bitten in half’s by a white
LOL you wouldn't want that.
No side scan with an in Hull transducer
Thanks Barry, We will get this updated.
Pity you can’t buy one in Australia, every dealer is out of stock. They laugh at you when you ask when will they become available.
Yeah its really bad at the moment. Im being told the same from most dealers too. Covid and stock shortage a real shame during peak summer time.
I'd deal with Marriott's in Leongatha instead of Melbourne seadoo. Marriott's honoured heaps of accessories and upgrades on my new seadoo and saved $3250 🤙🏼
Great to hear that you have had a good experience with Marriott's in Leongatha
thinking about trade mine in for the 2021 model!
What do you have currently ?
@@fishingmad I have a 2019 model, wonder if it's worth it.
This voiceover 😂
I can hear the ROOM 🤯
How is your IDF holding up? I am seeing lots of failures and stranded people on the web...
What would be the autonomy? How many km or miles per Gal?
Could you launch this off the beach?
100% back the trailer into the water and away you go. Just need a good 4WD and practice with beach launches which can be a little tricky. Also often see guys launching at ramps than coming into the beaches for some fun and than reheading out.
trailer included with these?
yes most packages include a trailer
Cruising distance with the 70 liter tank?
If you had $30K to spend, would you go with Jetski or very small boat for fishing?
Hey Phil, Personally id get a boat. LOL. You can buy some really nice boats for that budget. Quintrex have some great options within that price point. I have a few mates that love the jetski for fun and fishing. They would prob go a jetski first.
Can you offshore with that thing
In the right conditions 100%, the stability on them is great. I know many who target kingfish with them
where can we buy this jetski?
Melbourne Seadoo on Bulla road Essendon. There has been a national stock shortage for most dealership over christmas.
please write email address to contact.
This has there contact details facebook.com/melbourneseadoo/ and you should be able to do a direct chat with them online aswell
No IDF on that bad boy?
Nah, the initial release of the 2021 Fish Pros into Aus didn't have iDF. Lets hope in the new year we see a big shipment of them in
Beautiful his motorcycle
How are you?
Going very well, got quite a bit of content to be released this week starting with this vid
Hi Ellen
Hi Korey
Too bad you cant actually buy one - well not until some unknown date next year !!
Yeah ive just heard of a massive stock shortage overnight from most dealerships. Also a big shipping issue getting them in the country. Its a real shame especially before Christmas

How about you get what you want not everyone wants a boring rib boat.
@@ernk72 I like jetskis, i owned a few ones, fishing jetskis is just stupid, is like using an sport bike for traveling for example, makes no sense
@@Euskoworking people do use sports bikes to travel lol to each their own.
WHITE FOR A FISHING DOO. CMON.
