Wow, just gorgeous! I am a German car enthusiast but I have deep appreciation for some of the best American classic examples. This is one of them. It is basically an elegant box, good proportions, scale, balance. Much more than I can say what is coming out today!
Thanks TH-cam for showing me this 3 years later after it was first posted. 3 years ago i would have bought this beauty, but I'm sure now in 2024 it has been sold to somebody that is absolutely loving this this car. TH-cam sucks with there timing on things i like to watch and maybe try to purchase. Well i have learned to follow certain sites that i have found on TH-cam but i still say TH-cam is getting old and outdated .that is one of my dream cars, especially now that I'm 63 and love the cloud rides. I have one of the last rear wheel drive buick roadmasters, it's a a1996 with only 132.000 klms and i can drive anywhere and not be achey.
@Lookingthroughice I'm 63 as well. My father had a 63 CDV just like this one. It was that light pink, dusty rose color I believe. I don't have any memory of it since I was too young. He later traded this one in for a silver '65...Now that one I remember. Especially the part about getting car sick riding in the backseat, due to the boat like smooth ride. 😊
Hey Mark, What a absolute creampuff you have there!!! I can honestly say ive never seen a cleaner more immaculate example anywhere & I have looked at these because, One I just luv Caddys and Two it's the year I was born... Truly enjoyable on all levels! 👍 Thanks for sharing bro
*WOW* ....what a *BEAUTIFUL* automobile! Jim and the crew did an outstanding restoration down to every last detail, to truly make it as if it just came off the showroom floor. Major props to them and to you Mark, for sharing this classic automobile with us..and congrats to the fortunate new owners. Long may they cherish and drive it. I'm so envious! ....Cheers to you Mark and to everyone, from British Columbia, Canada : ) (you looked cool behind the wheel and in your shades...and I'll definitely give you a 'thumbs up' for this video, plus subscribe)
1964 model had the new bigger engine, updated 3 speed hydromatic transmission and the very first automatic climate control! I think the styling was about the same.
True. Some important changes happened in 1964 even though the looks didn’t change that much. The biggest improvements were the new 429 engines and the better transmission. Still, this one is highly desirable!
Second time seeing this. The car is a piece of artwork. Make sure to adulterate, not elevate the car by playing some stupid off the shelf bordello music. How difficult to share some specifics on the car?. Educate the audience. Maybe you did, but already clicked off by 1:30 mimute mark.
Question, Just found this video, and love this DeVille !!, I was born in 1963., Do you have the name of the buyer, as I would like to contact him and see if he would possibly be interested in selling it ? , I must have this one of a kind Classic,, if he is willing , NO MATTER THE COST !!, Thank you if you would Respond.
Hi Dennis, we cannot directly provide the customer's information but we can reach out and see if it is something he would be willing to sell, and from there we can connect you both.
It is a limited slip controlled differential, as mentioned in the video and the description, which is a rare option for this vehicle. Basically "posi", GM named their lsd "positraction", they are the same thing. Thanks.
That is simply beautiful. Truly poetry in motion…

Beautiful My mom had one brand new --
My first. From a junkyard......How I miss it.
SUPER CADILLAC....PURE GM POWER
Gotta love an old Cadi!
How much was the final sale price?
Beautiful car. Why in videos like this do posters feel it necessary to insert insipid music?
Agreed...the "music" is horrendous.
Agree. The music was so bad I was leaving but skipped to the middle and the music was gone.
1963 was the last year in which the "R" position was at the end of the Hydra Matic selector. PNDSLR. From 1964 on, PRNDSL has been
Perfeição!!! 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷

Good afternoon, beauty of Cadillac, by any chance, does anyone know the name or code of that color?
As mentioned in the video description, the car was painted in its original color of Benton Blue
do you do restoration still
We have never done restorations, sorry. We are a classic car dealership.
I just want to take it down a gravel road like me and dad used to do with ours.
Song?

Beautiful car; but that background “music” is atrocious!
They didn’t come with Posi from factory, that’s aftermarket
