Wonderful Dinner at Wing Lei inside the Wynn Las Vegas

- Wing Lei was the first Chinese restaurant in America to earn the prestigious Michelin star. Having the Michelin star means that Wing Lei must pride itself on its food, service, and overall dining experience. I have personally never been to Wing Lei so I'm really looking forward to seeing what Michelin star Chinese food is all about. I'm going to be trying many dishes today because
Every restaurant is a buffet if you're willing to pay
Thanks for watching!!

Thanks for sharing this Shin quite beautiful. We appreciate you taking us to this very upscale restaurant. I'm saving for Christmas... with out you I would not have seen the inside of this gem ! ❤🙋👍
I'm happy to have you along Diana! We'll see every restaurant on the strip and downtown together here on the channel. Thanks for watching!
Thank you for including your sister (and brother in law). You are a good brother. Bless you. Great show!
My friends and family have open invites to my video tapings for a free meal. My sister just likes to come for the nicest places lol. Thanks for watching!
Another fantastic review. Once again proving that Shin is the best in the business..
I appreciate that! Thanks for watching!
Thanks for this detailed food review of the first Chinese restaurant to get a Michelin star, that was probably the most pages of wines and cocktails I have ever seen.
A VERY extensive beverage menu yes. I imagine their alcohol cabinet is enormous. Thanks for watching!
I ate there a few years ago and it was one of the best meals I've had. Those waygu beef rolls omg. The service was absolutely impeccable. They also brought out a little green chair to put my purse on! Such a fantastic place!!
The service was incredible. I should have mentioned that in the video. My sister also got one of those purse seats lol. Great restaurant. Thanks for watching Potato!
That sea bass grabbed my attention. Good video once more.
That 3 cup seabass was crazy good mafatone! Thanks for watching!
That seabass looked so good 🤤
Thank you for another great review. Your right pricey. That's why we have you. Love your videos'. Thanks for sharing.
Happy to have you along! I'm curious what every restaurant on the strip looks like so we'll catch them together. Thanks for watching!
I appreciate how Shin can describe flavors and textures better than most food channel who just says its good. 👍👍
I'm glad you like my style! Thanks for watching!
The wagyu beef rolls looked sooooo good and Peking duck omg but dude the prices are so highhh
The food was solid, especially the luxe items like the duck, beef rolls and king crab salad but yes, it's very expensive here. The Wynn and the history of having the first Michelin Star for a Chinese restaurant in America and they really let you know it with the price. Thanks for watching Tiffany!
Shin, may I substitute myself in place of your sister and brother-in-law? I promise there will be no packing of leftovers.
LOL! If I hated them maybe, but I happen to really love my sister and brother in law. Thanks for watching!
Great review of what looks like an amazing place. I’ve been wanting to try this spot for a long time. The food here must be amazing judging by the expressions on your face. I hear they have a special dim sum menu around the Chinese new year.
My first trip to Wing Lei was really great. My family and I enjoyed our visit. I am curious what their dim sum is like. That might be worth checking out. Thanks for watching!
Thanks Shin! I love Mopo tofu too! I was wondering if it was going to be spicy. Interesting they went with a more savory profile! Thanks for the review!
I would have definitely preferred a spicier version for sure. Thanks for watching!
The Peking Duck there is something else!! amazing food
Agreed! I thought it was so good! Really enjoyed it. Thanks for watching!
Oh my goodness everything just looked wonderful the place is just beautiful I must have missed your Tuesday video have a great weekend ❤️
Really great food here. My family and I had a great time! Tuesday video was delayed this week but I'll have it up this coming week. Thanks for watching Lori!
Never been more sure that I’d be dining in Chinatown for Chinese food lol. Thanks for the video Shin!
You got it Jay lol. Thanks for watching!
Great review as always . I had asked you some time back when you going to start reviewing upscale Chinese restaurants. You picked the one I was most curious about due to its Michelin star and reputation. After viewing the video, I got the sense with a few exceptions , the food was good, but not spectacular . There are many other fine Chinese restaurants on the strip, I am very interested in how they compare. I am going to put my reservation at Wing Lei for now until I see reviews of similar restaurants . Thank you again for another great video .
Both Jasmine and Genting Palace are on the spreadsheet for 2025 so we'll see. I thought the luxe dishes at Wing Lei were incredible. The king crab salad, the wagyu beef roll, and the Peking duck. The rest you can get relatively equivalent in Chinatown. You can tell with the garlic beef dish that they were using prime beef, not choice or select so the quality of ingredients is definitely still going to be better here than on Spring Mountain. All in all, I enjoyed my meal here but as you say, outside of the exceptions, I didn't think the standard Chinese fare was spectacular. Thanks for watching!
I've seen all of your videos and this may be my favorite. I've always been intrigued by Chinese fine dining. Keep the vids coming!
Thank you for supporting me and the channel! I'm glad you enjoyed this video. Plenty more on the way! Thanks for watching!
Huge Asian food fan here. The food looked really good. So many great Asian restaurants in Vegas. Ty for the review.😊
I too love me my Asian food! Meal was great here at Wing Lei, but like you say, so many great Asian restaurants here in Vegas. Thanks for watching!
Hii Shin, I don’t know how I missed this one. What a nice treat for you and your family to go to this exquisite Michelin star restaurant. A great review as always, and the Peking Duck looked delicious. See you Tuesday!
We're all subject to the algorithm. Hopefully it keeps me on your page lol. We did have a very nice time here. The duck was fantastic. Thanks for watching Diane!
Shin- chilled King Crab is so underrated people love how soaked in butter but on its own has so much sweetness and flavor
I think chilled lobster is great too but love that hot
In a roll
Chilled king crab is delicious! And like you say, it doesn't need a lot of butter and such if it's properly fresh. Thanks for watching!
SHIN!! Finally have power and internet back. I was so excited to see how Wing Lei was. That cherry dessert looked WILD! And such a beautiful room. Like going back in time to someone's very wealthy aunt's house in the 70s. Seems like it would be worth a visit just for the duck. Thanks for another great one!
God bless. I'm happy to hear you're getting back on your feet out there. Wing Lei was a really great experience. My family and I enjoyed it very much. The duck I would definitely go back for on its own. Thanks for watching Holly!
Awesome place. I'm going to take a date there, but first i have to find a date!!!
Most people seem to think the money is the limiting factor in being able to visit so you're a step ahead of the game! Good luck finding a date. Thanks for watching!
@@VegaswithShin Thanks Shin!! Just made reservation for Golden Steer!!
Amazing High End Chinese Wing Lei Restaurant !!! Awesome job Shin on the vlog !!!
My first time here and it was a very enjoyable experience. I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Thanks for watching!
Oh ... this is amazing!
So good! Thanks for watching!
Look delicious definitely a restaurant for a celebration
Very tasty for sure! A very fancy place to celebrate. Beautiful restaurant. Thanks for watching!
Hi Shin! Another fantastic detailed review. I have to get the duck every time. They normally have a Peking duck tasting menu that is fabulous. Seeing you there makes me want to go back! Thank so much - you’re the best. See you Tuesday. 😀
I loved the duck! It was really great. I'll have to keep the tasting menu in mind if I make a return visit. Thanks for watching! See you Tuesday!
..another honest and professional great review Shin!!! Thank you!!
My pleasure! Thanks for watching!
Another great review Shin. I’ve added this spot to my bucket list next time I’m in Vegas
Glad you enjoyed! I hope you like it if you make the visit. Thanks for watching!
All the food looks super good. I definitely would like try the duck and garlic beef.
The duck and garlic beef were excellent. I did enjoy my Wing Lei experience and I think you would too. Thanks for watching Jerry!
Aloha Shin! That was pretty good for the most part. They’re cooking at really high level. Beautiful room, gorgeous cuisine, big words and big bites! Mahalo for another excellent review!
Beautiful restaurant, incredible service, and solid food. I enjoyed my time at Wing Lei. Thanks for watching Lu!
Wing Lei looks incredible!
It was very nice! We enjoyed ourselves. Thanks for watching!
After gettintg through a very tough time during the storm in NC finally got my internet after one week. Your video brought me long missed comfort restaurant coverage to calm my anxious times during this rough period.
Omg Beth, please take care. Everything I've seen out there looks like absolute devastation. You're in my thoughts and prayers. Absolutely horrible. I hope you're able to really get back on your feet as soon as possible
Thank you Shin for another amazing food review! ❤ Always love these
Glad you like them! Thanks for watching!
Wow I'm early! Well I just wanted to say I enjoy your reviews more than others as you describe everything as well as tell us the price - not many other Vegas reviewers do this! Thanks, and keep up the good work! I'll be in Vegas for Christmas from the UK :)
I'm glad to hear you enjoy the videos! I hope you have a great trip this December. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the rec. staying at the Wynn soon ❤
Very nice! I hope you have a great visit to the Wynn! Thanks for watching!
Love Chinese food
Me too! It's my favorite. Thanks for watching!
Wing Lei is absolutely spectacular. I'd recommend that you try Red Plate over at the Cosmopolitan for comparison.
I will be sure to try out Red Plate. Thanks for watching!
Your food selection had my mouth watering......
I was too when I was editing the video lol. Thanks for watching!
Really wanted to go there I was just in Vegas, but it’s so hard to get reservations for when you want them there at that restaurant
Yeah, by the middle of recording the entire restaurant was completely packed when I was there for dinner. Tough to go on short notice here. Thanks for watching!
Another fantastic review, thanks! And also here, Wine prices are out of this World, I really ask who would drop 500USS+ just for 1 bottle? In relation, food appears to be attainable, so I probably would have 2-3 Negronis prior arrival and then go for water. Suggest that they have 3-4 Napas in the 130 to 160 range, which is still hefty
I'm not an alcohol person so I have no frame of reference but the drink prices on the strip in general are nuts. Thanks for watching!
Thx Shin…I really like your restaurant reviews and even tho I’ve been to Wing Lei about 3 or 4 times already, I’m going back next week with 3 of my friends to introduce them to all the food choices you had in this video. Also like your video on Cut (Wolfgang pucks) at Palazzo so may try to fit that one in too. 16:37
I hope you enjoy the dishes! We had a great time and I hope you do too. Thanks for watching!
Thank you for trying the tofu!!! Reasonably priced (by vegas standards) for a Michelin star entree. I know the Wynn had a requirement for all restaurants to include vegan options. Is that still true with new leadership? I hope so!
I will order mapo tofu at every restaurant that has it lol. I'm not sure about that Wynn requirement. I'll try and keep an eye out for that when I'm at the Wynn next. Thanks for watching!
Nice review. I’ve been to this place a couple of times, and though yes you are paying high end Vegas Strip restaurant prices, the service and experience of dining here is the best I’ve had on the strip.
The unexpected amuse-bouche in the beginning and the unexpected takeaway pineapple cake at the end are nice ways to make sure the experience exceeds your expectations from the beginning to the end.
Not all the dishes are the most flavorful Chinese dishes you’ve had compared to your hole-in-the-wall restaurants, but everything is super fresh. I remember that stood out to me even with the fried rice - each piece of vegetable just being perfectly sized, shaped, blemish free, and amazingly fresh.
So yes, expensive and probably not the best restaurant on the strip judged purely on food taste, but gives you more value in my opinion, as most others will charge you just the same for the same level of food with a lesser experience.
Agreed! It was such an experience at Wing Lei. The quality of the ingredients is top notch for sure. I really liked it here. Thanks for watching!
You’re killing me with giggles whenever you said ‘pecking duck’. It’s pronounced ‘peeking duck’ 😁. I don’t think I could ever spend those prices for any food even if I could afford it😁. Thanks for trying all these restaurants. Have a great weekend 😊
E.J. you are correct in the pronunciation. Also for the price most high end Chinese restaurants take the leftovers and make several dishes to eat and take home. So that was a let down for me.
LOL I just saw that part now... lol
I grew up thinking it was pronounced "peking" duck rooted from "Beijing" but now I'm not so sure. I have different Chinese friends who have told me both ways so I just stuck with the rationale someone gave me before about the whole "peking" "Beijing" thing. Thanks for watching!
@@VegaswithShin but wouldn’t that be spelled like ’peiking’? If it was spelt like that I’d pronounce it ‘pay-king’ to rhyme with Beijing.😁Anyway just messing with ya. I’m Chinese btw and have only ever heard ‘ peeking’ duck. Pronounce it how you like, all good. Have a great week 👍
What a nice experience. I've never had the opportunity to enjoy the Peking Duck service. It alllllll looked quite tasty, for sure. ✌️😋❤️👍🌻
The Peking duck was incredibly good. Very tasty. Thanks for watching!
😮 Wow...First off, the restaurant interior was gorgeous, the drink list was extensive, the apps was interesting, beautifully executed ( crab salad ) was a surprise, wasn't expecting that in a high end chinese restaurant...all the dishes looked delicious but expensive for the portions they served you 😢...was shocked about the mapo tofu, never seen it made in a shroom sauce before 🤔...love shrooms but would NEVER eat or order this dish 😂...have to admit, for a Michelin star, although it was pristine and all the servers were polite...guess that the prices you have to pay for dining at a Michelin star restaurant in Vegas....glad you all enjoyed your meal, have a great weekend, see you Tues ❤😊
The service was truly incredible and the ultra luxe dishes were very good. The standard Chinese fare I think you can find equivalent in Chinatown. But it was gorgeous in there and I really did enjoy the ambiance. Thanks for watching Jade! See you Tuesday!
Damn Shin you are killing me here ! Damn it all looked so flipping good . I’m hungry now lol . Thanks Shin love your videos Sir ! My wife being Chinese think we will try this in March .Thanks to you !
My family and I had a great time. I hope you like it if you try in March! Thanks for watching Kyle!
Those wagyu rolls look sooo good! 🤤 I’ll have to check this place out next time I stay at the Wynn!
The wagyu beef rolls were so good! That airy crisp was just fun to bite into. I hope you like it if you try it! Thanks for watching!
I hope you do the Lunar New Year brunch there sometime. Insane value for all you can eat of that quality. I've done it three different years and it's amazing every time.
I hope to check it out sometime! I don't know about making a video on it though because it's such a limited experience and most people who watch the video won't get an opportunity to try it by the time they watch it. I guess we'll see. Thanks for watching!
@@VegaswithShin will make it harder to get a table then too lol. I waited in line an hour before opening to put my name down on the list for the day and I was barely able to get final seating last year. Maybe I will see you there next year!
Yes thats tasty.....love it Shinn
Indeed tasty lol. Thanks for watching!
Pecking Duck ? 😂....it all looked tasty.
I grew up being told it was "pecking" duck based off how people pronounced "Beijing" but now I'm not so sure. It was all tasty though. Thanks for watching!
Hi Shin! Love your videos! My son and a friend are coming to Vegas in March. They'd love for you to take them to lunch/dinner.
I'm glad you enjoyed the video! March is a busy time for me between family obligations back in California and I'm also going on a week long cruise in March so timing is likely difficult but if you're in town, comment on my latest video and I can at least tell you where I might be filming that week if you'd like to stop by and say hello. Thanks for watching!
while the food looked great, I have a problem with the portion sizing for the price. Out of everything that Peking duck was probably the best value. I can't believe you ordered sweet sour pork and mapo tofu at a Michelin starred restaurant... haha what did you expect? And $8 for a small bowl of white rice?? You better eat every grain! Nice video shin.
700 spent and can't get some free rice hahahaha.
I would imagine mapo tofu is significantly different when using the best ingredients with the best preparation.
Portions are never the selling point at most of these high end places. I'll get mapo tofu at any Chinese restaurant if it's on the menu lol, and for videos, I'm always trying to just think about variety, not necessarily what I want to eat that day. And yeah, $8 for a bowl of rice is pretty nuts. Thanks for watching Chubbs!
Shrimp toast looks great
It was so good! Thanks for watching Lara!
Although most of the dishes looked tasty, the portions seemed a bit underwhelming considering the price is 3-4X normal. Especially with the mid fried rice and mapo tofu, those are staples.
Big time agree ! After Shen's review, I'd get the crispy Kobe beef roll and mu shu pork with those killer hoisin options -that is if they have mu shu. Peking duck is way too rich for me. That's all I'd get LOL - how about you ? Cheers !
You're definitely paying a huge upcharge for ambiance and service. The service was impeccable, I should have mentioned that in the video. The best service from a Chinese restaurant I've ever received. That said, I think you could get an equally delicious meal in Chinatown minus the ultra luxe stuff like the wagyu beef roll and king crab salad. Thanks for watching!
I enjoyed this review. Not my cup of tea (see what I did there😂) but your videos, as always, delivers. Thanks for taking us along 💯👍
Happy to have you along Allie! I'm glad you still enjoyed the video. Thanks for watching!
The shrimp looks best to me 😊
Oh that shrimp toast was excellent! Thanks for watching!
One of my fav vegas places. Much better than Jasmine and equal to empress court restaurant (back in da day). The soy with chili side sauce is epic.
I haven't been to Jasmine but it is on my spreadsheet for 2025 so I'll be able to make the comparison soon enough. It was very tasty here at Wing Lei though, that is for sure. Thanks for watching!
@@VegaswithShin any other high end Asian place you like? Trying to go tomorrow. Been to Mott 32 and Din Tai fun. Hoping you have advice please
i didnt know i was drooling at the wagyu roll
It was so good! I can still taste it in my thoughts lol. Thanks for watching!
Can't watch yet! We're without power in South Carolina from the hurricane. This one is gonna be great, isn't it?!
Oh no! Stay safe Holly! All of you caught in the hurricane have been in my thoughts. But to answer your question, yes, we enjoyed Wing Lei lol.
Wow! Very nice. Wow! Karla in Cali.
Beautiful restaurant and good food here. Thanks for watching Karla!
Best service in Vegas!!
I should have mentioned that more in the video that the service was actually perfect. Thanks for watching!
Shin, I was really hoping you'd get around to ordering the Peking Duck. I've heard/read many good things about this particular Wing Lei dish, so I'm thrilled that you were able to give us a review on it. Two questions which I hope you can answer. 1. Do they serve the entire duck? For instance, at Mott 32, they only give you some of it, the remainder you have to purchase mixed in with some fried rice. 2. If they do give you the entire duck, do you carve it all up or just a portion and leave the bulk at your table? In any event, as always a fantastic, detailed review, amigo.
It was more of the 2nd. They carved it all up, had it plated like I showed in the video, and the remaining bones/husk they left on the cart and asked if we wanted to take it. But we were too busy making our little roll ups and eating. Hope this helps! Thanks for watching!
@@VegaswithShin Yes, it helped. Thanks!
VWS: Admittedly Ling Wei food looked fantastic ( but obviously over priced). It reminded of the time I took clients & staff ( about 8 of us) to Mr. Chow's in London, England 🇬🇧. I asked the waiter to order food for us that he would recommend. After a few inquiries, he went to the kitchen, and gourmet wonderland proceeded. Maybe the best Chinese meal I've ever had but it was quite pricey at $4,000 ( about 8 bottles of wine 🍷 and I don't drink lol). I would highly recommend Mr. Chow's in Vegas (Ceasars) but since it is an outpost and do not know if the quality is the same. If you go get the noodles pulled table side, the show is wonderful but the Noodle taste is better. I was wondering could you adopt me I'd love to go on these way too expensive food outings lol lol. Anyway great vlog see you Tuesday Peace ✌️ out.
I've actually been looking forward to trying Mr. Chow's, though I don't think I have them until 2027. I've put a note down in my spreadsheet to keep an eye out for the table side noodles. Thanks for watching Al! See you Tuesday!
@@VegaswithShin If it is as good as the original Mr. CHOW'S in London you will be hand over hills. 😉
I’ve eaten here before on comps. I would not pay for it as nothing was really better than what you can find on spring mountain rd but 5x more $.
Huge upcharge for the ambiance and service for sure. Thanks for watching!
Can you imagine the cellar!?!?
It might be worth more than some local banks to be honest with you. Thanks for watching!
WOW that duck looks superb!!! Can't decide between wing lei, mott 32 or genting for the peking duck! 😬 Do you have any recs for those! I thought that wing lei gives a complimentary dessert platter and breakfast cakes to go at the end of dinner too. Did they stop doing that?... Thanks again for a wonderfully detailed review!
I've yet to try the duck at Mott32 and I've never eaten at Genting Palace though it's on my spreadsheet for next year. We didn't get the dessert platter but we did get the cakes at the end on our way out. I don't think they've had a table like mine before with the multiple rounds and lots of to go bags so maybe it messed with their rhythm? My sister who has been to Wing Lei mentioned the dessert platter as we were getting our cakes on the way out and I declined on waiting to get it because I was so full and just needed to stand and walk. To answer the original question though, from what I hear, you really can't go wrong with the Peking duck at any of those 3 restaurants. Thanks for watching!
Ahh I see haha, having an abundance of rounds is definitely an issue I wouldn't mind having! Haha 😄 I loved that your party ordered all the items I had been thinking of (especially the duck! ), was drooling the entire time lol. Thanks for the info about the complimentary desserts too! I am a sucker for sweets so looking forward to trying that as well as that beautiful cherry dessert 🍒 Hm I guess all 3 probably will taste good ...but I may check out the OG spot first. Wing Lei looks so traditional and family friendly. Thanks again for the detailed review! Best one I've seen so far of WL.
Shin almost at 25k, next stop 24k way to go!
I'm still amazed sometimes that I have more subscribers than my mom and sister, but the channel is growing at a very nice rate and I'm pleased that so many people are enjoying the videos. Thanks for watching!
Nice looking food Shin but over priced as so much is in Vegas. Me and my wife are going to Hong Kong in January and looking forward to eating good Chinese food but at a fraction of the price!
Vegas is definitely priced to own the tourists. You're absolutely going to be paying a fraction of the cost to eat in Hong Kong, that's for sure. I hope you have a good trip! Thanks for watching!
I love Asian food especially Japanese. I must say this is the fanciest place I’ve never been to. But wow, it is extremely expensive. I hope you savored as much leftovers as you could.
We had fewer leftovers than normal here because the portions are pretty small but we definitely enjoyed our meal. I too love my Asian food and Japanese ranks highly. Thanks for watching!
Which Peking duck you prefer? Mott 32 or wing lei?
I've never eaten the one at Mott32 and I believe they're not until 2026 so I won't know for a while. I think my high end Chinese for 2025 are going to be Jasmine at the Bellagio and Genting Palace at Resorts World. Thanks for watching!
Whooooooooooooaaa super Delish ❤❤❤!!
Yes so good! Thanks for watchign David!
I love walnut prawn and my mapo tofu better be spicy 🌶
Yes! We're in the same boat there. Thanks for watching!
For once everything looked very fresh and we;ll presented I would love to eat there. I just felt for the inflated prices of being the signature restaurant in the most High End casino on the strip. they should have given you just a bit more food on most dishes but it all looked exceptional. i admit my mouth actually watered seeing that crisp skin on that duck.
🦆🦆🦆
Portions are never the selling point at these types of restaurants unfortunately. We had much fewer leftovers than normal that I can attest to lol. And the duck was insanely good. Thanks for watching!
Food does not look oily, which is a good thing
They did a great job with that for sure. And nicely presented, very clean. Thanks for watching!
Shin I always enjoy the different places you pick. But at those prices you gotta be crazy . Go to China Town Way affordable and good eats these chefs must be making six figures easy.
The rent must be outrageous
I imagine the chefs at Wing Lei do well for themselves. The upcharge here is very real. The first Michelin star for a Chinese restaurant in the USA, at the Wynn, with these post pandemic inflation levels is a recipe for very high prices. Thanks for watching!
Wow, I wonder if they have body guards for those expensive wine bottles!
Very possible lol. Thanks for watching!
That is a lot of money to spend on some standard fare Chinese food. Hope it is a world better than Jasmine at Bellagio. It was trash. I really love Mizumi in Wynn. Enjoyed the video.
I've never been to Jasmine but it is on my spreadsheet for next year along with Genting Palace so we'll see what these other upscale Chinese restaurants are like soon enough. Thanks for watching!
@@VegaswithShin save your money and stay far away from Jasmine. I have had better Chinese food at Panda Express lol. You are better off putting $250 on black and at least you have a chance at winning. Keep up the good reviews!
Is this place better than Ping Pang Pong?
I've never eaten at Ping Pang Pong actually but that's a dim sum eatery and this is more of a pan-Chinese style restaurant so it's hard to compare. It's like asking if pizza place is better than pasta place. They're both Italian, but different still you know? Thanks for watching!
Michelin star Chinese?!?!? Their Orange chicken must be the bomb diggity!!!
It was the ambiance, the service, and the ultra luxe items like the king crab salad, wagyu beef rolls, and the Peking duck. Thanks for watching!
I think I can only afford to order a bowl of jasmine rice there. 😢
It's definitely very expensive. Thanks for watching!
Yqw buddy...see you Tues ❤😊
By the chin of his Shinny Shin Shin 😂
LMAO!
$20,000 bottle of wine!!!! that’s wild
Yeah, totally wild. Drinking the price of a car. Not me lol. Thanks for watching!
New review category: how well do the pages cooperate with shin!
Lmao!! Wing Lei ranks very lowly on that scale. Thanks for watching!
I love video but the seefood give me the nightmares
Scary stuff. Glad you liked the rest though. Thanks for watching!
From the brief footage of the clients in the dining room, I didn't recognize many Chinese people.
I'd say there were probably 15% Chinese people in the room at the most at some time. Thanks for watching!
You should’ve invited Danny the Medic!
He’s too cheap. And picky
Maybe we'll get to collab sometime in the future. Thanks for watching!
I consider myself a well traveled chinese food connoisseur and i think 850 all in is ridiculously over priced. you can get very nice quality meals for much less. but, i guess they are selling the michelin star and the fact that it's at the Wynn. anyways, thanks for the review !
The Wynn name and the prestige of being the first Michelin Star Chinese restaurant really takes the price to a new level here. Very expensive. Glad you enjoyed the video! Thanks for watching!
Michelin stars were invented to encourage people to drive around more by providing destinations for people drive to so the Michelin tire company can sell more tires.
You can buy a full set of tires installed for what this place is charging for one person. Depending on what's ordered.
Tires...
Yes, I do recall that was the origin of the Michelin star system. But thankfully nowadays, it doesn't necessarily have to mean that it's expensive. Street vendors in Asia have Michelin stars, as does Tim Ho Wan, which is much less pricey than a place like Wing Lei. Thanks for watching!
I decided to check how long the ads ran for, if I just let it run all the way through. For this 30 minute vlog the ads added an extra 3 hours and 34 minutes for a total time of over 4 hours including two 45 minute ads and three 15 to 17 minute ads. Luckily I was packing up my bedrooms and just looked on my computer every once in a while. I always let the ads run because they are only a couple of minutes or less per ad. Many are under a minute down to 10 seconds. This might make me reconsider and just "skip" over the all the ads. I didn't remember most of the vlog content.
Omg that's insane. Who's buying hour long ads from Google? Feel free to skip through ads for my videos lol. I don't mind at all. Thanks for watching!
@@VegaswithShin I watch them as long as they're under 3-minutes. At least I'll take a bathroom break. These ads were mostly in the first 9-minutes of the vlog.
Anyone else shouting the right pronunciation of Peking at the screen? 😂
Food looks nice, but I’m not sure if it reaches the quality of Michelin. Some of the plating could really be improved
I had to check because if I have been mispronouncing Peking my whole life, how embarrassing!
I grew up thinking it was pronounced "peking" duck rooted from "Beijing" but now I'm not so sure. I have different Chinese friends who have told me both ways so I just stuck with the rationale someone gave me before about the whole "peking" "Beijing" thing. Thanks for watching!
To eat there, I need to take out a second mortgage.😅
Hey, that still means you're a homeowner which is better than a lot of America nowadays. But yes, incredibly expensive restaurant. Thanks for watching!
👍🤠
Thanks for watching Vickie!

Whoa that place is way too expensive for me.
Very expensive for sure here. Thanks for watching!
Your sister must have lots of comps to eat there. It is disappointing they dont have any traditional cantonese dessert
Yeah, my sister has the ultimate comp: An all paying big brother lmao. The desserts were creative and definitely left the traditional space. Thanks for watching!

I would have certainly appreciated another 6. Thanks for watching!
@@VegaswithShin I love your videos. I'm from San Jose CA. I go to Vegas once a year n try to at least eat at 1 of the places you go to. Love your motto .. " Every restaurant is a buffet if you're willing to pay!" 🥰
