- The Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood is well known as the cheap eats central station on the Las Vegas strip. Blondies in fact is well known for a breakfast special they serve daily. Not much online regarding their dinner however so I thought I would show off what they can do in the evening. Will it be good? We'll find out together as I try many dishes because

I honestly can't think of a time where I had a meal going out to eat that was bad enough I'd ask that. Once or twice they forgot something so long that by the time it came ot I was ready to go, so I asked then. Generally food is going to be at least okay otherwise they would go out of business.
One time I was eating at the Paris steakhouse in Vegas with 2 friends and my friend ordered a steak medium rare & it came out easily well done like it was hammered. So he called the waiter out to look at it, only time I’ve ever really seen someone do that other than my grandma when I was a kid (she was embarrassing sometimes) anyway they comped the ENTIRE bill. Was pretty wild.
Maybe he could have said, "As much as they are charging for these flat-as-a-board quesadillas, I could have made out better ar Taco Bell!

I'm looking at that "all you can drink for $20" sign and thinking WHAT??? Then I remember back in the day when you could sit at a penny slot for hours and pretty much drink for free. LOL. That chicken sandwich looked good, but shame on them for charging for sides. Thanks for the video!!
They do have some good drink specials at Blondie's but I'm with you, I don't like when restaurants won't include a side for their handhelds. At least some fries. Thanks for watching Holly!
I remember going to Blondies back in 2009 because they were one of the few spots on the strip that had a Cheesesteak served with Whiz and on an Amoroso Italian Roll. It was delicious!!

A $13+ surcharge fee? What in the blue hell is that?
Thanks for another great video that changed our perception of this place as far as food quality goes.
A rip off junk fee, they and some other strip restaurants charge mystery fees hoping most customers won't complain. Some sleazeball restaurants call it a Concession & Franchise Fee (CNF), but there's no law in Nevada requiring customers to pay for it. This restaurant serves similar bar food to other places. Avoid this place even if the breakfast special is cheap.

I'm not sure what that charge was. I didn't even notice it at the restaurant. I just try and make sure everything is in frame so I don't actually closely look at the bill. I will say though, I've only had their breakfast special here so I wasn't expecting much from the dinner service but the food was solid. Thanks for watching!
@@dianalong2024 there's a 8.375% sales tax, the so called "Surcharge" is a junk fee added by some sleazy strip restaurants. It's completely arbitrary, the restaurant decides how much they want to charge unsuspecting customers. There's no law in Nevada that requires these Surcharges to be paid, it's not mandatory like sales tax. Customers aren't legally required to pay these junk fees so dispute them.

I've been to Blondie's a couple of times. One time for breakfast and one time to meet up with a TH-cam/Twitch streamer that was visiting. I really haven't tried the dinner menu but a lot of the food looks super good. I'm always down for a good fish and chips and that one looked pretty solid.
Yeah, lots of videos on Blondie's breakfast special but I haven't seen as much on their dinner so I was pleasantly surprised that it was actually decent with a lot of house made dishes. Thanks for watching Jerry!

I love fish and chips, especially cod. The onion rings also looked nice. And the pretzel with the ceese sauce. Yummy 😋
One thing sounded confusing so to me. The shrimp in the bowl at yhe end. Did I hear right that they seasoned it with old bay? That in itself is not bad, I do that. But never would I use teriyaki sauce with that. Those are two very different flavor profiles.

For the strip their normal meals have okay prices, i know they have a cheap breakfast deal but i never really cheeked the menu when i walked by,.

Granted I’m only on the appetizer round but I totally dig this place. Looks like a fun but relaxed bar. I really like that it’s themed but not overboard to the point where it’s exhausting. I think it’s exhausting when theme$ places add too much personality on the menu and it everything is named crazy stuff and the descriptions get obnoxious trying to be fun and personalized instead of giving straight forward descriptions. Lol glad I have a safe place to rant. Thanks, shin😊 might be worth it to ask if they’ll do half n half when you order pizzas if you wanted to try more. I myself am a purist and love my pepperoni too! Yum

I really liked the relaxed atmosphere in here. Nothing pretentious, great friendly service staff and I was expecting a lot of Sysco truck frozen and reheated food but I was happy to discover so many house made options here. I'll keep that in mind when I go to try pizzas if they'll do half and half. Could show off some more variety. Thanks for watching!

Don't go, it's a rip off, other strip casual restaurants serving bar food charge prices that are a little less and don't charge unethical Surcharges.

It’s a shame they didn’t pan fry the broccoli with a little salt and pepper. A small amount of effort would have elevated the ‘healthy’ dish to another level. Good review!

Have walked past the place at least 100 times. Some of the items look great. Others not so much. No swiss on my burgers.

I don't know Shin. This food looked very BASIC and get what you pay for. If I had only $40 bucks and I was seriously hungry, I would go there. Otherwise I would keep walking.
It still ends up being one of the cheaper restaurants on the strip and while nothing was gourmet, I was surprised to find as many scratch made recipes as I did. I was expecting reheated Sysco truck delivered food and it was definitely better than that. But objectively, you can definitely get a better bite to eat on the strip than here for sure. VWS: Blondies skillfully rips off their customers in multiple ways and it is not really the prices. It is the requirement to buy a side with hand helds ( and $6.99 for sweet fries please and $6 for diet coke rips). But if you say the food is good then for a Strip restaurant it is worthy of a visit. They should use the spaghetti sauce on the pizza. The fish n chips looked the best. Nachos overpriced when thy dont even make the chips and have a small amount of salsa.

Most readily admit they're doing it to make money and supplement their income or as their only source of income. If there was absolutely no money or gain to be made at all I think most TH-cam vloggers would not do them. Is doing TH-cam just an excuse to attempt to try to get attention and become a "celebrity?"

Frozen foods. Nothing is prepared. Fresh except scrambled eggs. It's cheap and it's barely edible.
