Sadly my dad scrapped it around 2019. I don't know why since it still worked. I have a picture of it destroyed. He threw it in to the backyard for some reason. Oh well.
@@popeye6284 No worry. I'm glad I got photos and videos of it. There's a picture of me in front of it in 1998 lol. Yea i have a couple still. I gotta try to sell some to people who want them.
I'm holding on to my LG 29" flat CRT from 2005. It's a gift to me and it holds sentimental value. Plus it's a relic from a bygone era and perhaps I'll still be able to use it someday. But yeah, you can't save all your old stuff. New things come along and you gotta make room otherwise you'd get stuck in the past.
Nice! Well there's nothing wrong with having a lot of things from the past. I think it's only a problem if it actually holds you back from your personal goals. I love old stuff.
I have a 20TS24 from that year. Good looking picture on that era of Trinitron and in my experience they seem to hold up a bit better than the later models.
They're wonderful. They definitely don't last forever, as I once found a 1992 KV-19TS20 with some color issues. I did find another 1992 of the same model in perfect shape though.
A few weeks back my mother called me and told me she saw an old CRT tv near a old washteria because she knows I'm into retro gaming! When I arrived to the scene it was a big ass 36 inch Sony Trinitron I think it was from 2003! I wanted to take it but it's too big for my place and heavy as fuck!
@TheCRTman Their is a lady in my area selling a Sansui 20-inch crt tv! Vhs and dvd combo has S video, I think! Those sets are worth it more because you still get higher quality without breaking your back trying moving a tank! 😆
Great find! I think I saw a Sony from the 80’s on the street once but I was in a car going back to my house so I couldn’t get it or ask the owner if it was for sale or not.
Not really anymore tbh, but every blue moon I'll randomly find stuff. Model M's have been going for a lot of money even 10 years ago when I was looking at them on ebay.
@@TheCRTman I'm looking for one but can't afford to have it shipped or to buy free shipping. Or in my local areas for free shipping or free buy. Hoping to get one one-day. With the blue IBM logo on it and from the 80s
Man I’ve been watching your videos for years and I just want to say I’m glad you still upload! Keep it up!!
Thank you!
Great find! Do you still have your 1995 27 inch Sony Trinitron CRT TV?

@@TheCRTman I’m so sorry to hear that! Do you have any other CRT TVs left?

Yea that's the problem. If I was stronger and had more time and space, I'd probably try to sell these. Just not worth it for me though.
@@TheCRTman Yeah it's understandable dude that's why I'm looking in my local area just 20 inch and below
@@Jinkyuu1999 Yep that's the only sets I take.

Can't you sell it
It would take forever. I have too much stuff at home.
Hey CRTman.
Do you still look for computer keyboards along with the TV's?
Im looking for an IBM model M or an M13 with blue IBM logos
