yes , because of saving account used for personal use
but trading account used for only sell or buy share
But before opening trading account you have to first open saving account😊

@@SiddharthMalik nsdl and cdsl are depository, when you buy stock on NSE then the stock will automatically deposit in nsdl and when you buy stock on BSE then the stock will deposit in cdsl.

Depends on the Broker..., for example, Zerodha costs 300 rupees for it.

smallcase has the minimum investment amount. This amount changes in real time as the stock prices changes of the stocks inside the smallcase :)

Hi KD,
Yes, a trading account is required for any purchase or selling action in the stock market. However, you don't need to open a separate trading account. Almost all the stock brokers in India also open a trading account by default when you open a Demat account with them.
Is savings account works as trading account
Hi, Sanjeev Kumar! A savings account is only used to transact rupees. Whereas if you need to buy/sell shares, you will require a Demat & trading account. However, you will also require an active 'Bank Account' in order to transfer funds to your trading account and buy shares. In Intra-day there's no delivery of shares. It's kinda virtual transaction.
If we r using trading ac where the stocks are hold for that one day and how?
Hey Kaustubh Budar, A trading account is only used to transact/trade shares, whereas the shares that you purchase for the long term, are stored in your Demat account. And, when you trade stocks in Intraday, those shares are directly bought and sold via your Trading account through the exchange. Yes Lokesh, You can do so by opening new trading and demat account with your preferred broker and shifting your shares from old demat to new demat account. Do check with your broker first before doing so.
