    I love that the chickens are raised in a more natural environment both for them and my family. Now if only Nutrafarms was as proactive about sending out product and price lists so one could place an order. I'm not interested in spending time on the phone listening to a sales pitch, I know what I want and simply want to look at the options, quantities and prices to put together an order.

      Yes I agree with you there...I did contact them to get a product and price list but now they are trying to call me and have a talk session...My freezer is full at the moment and I mentioned that to them so until some of that food gets eaten I am not able to buy any of their stuff. I think it’s great that we are able to purchase healthy growing animals for us to eat but still I can’t buy anything at the moment.

    We love the quality and packaging of the NutraFarm products - quick delivery and great customer service. It is also supporting our local suppliers - our neighbours which is so important, especially now during these tough times. Every single product is really good. Thank you Nutrafarms! Sher and George

    they look like happy chickens. Yes, I like to eat meat, but I don't like to see any animals living in torture. Good job on raising your livestock.

    I am disappointed that they can’t supply a list of their products, the quantities you can order, and the costs. I don’t have time for a long sales pitch, just send me the information I need to know and I’ll make up my mind myself. You should have all of that ready to send to potential customers.

      I'd talk to a rep. Because they only sell bulk orders, it gets comparable to supermarkets. Plus, all their packaging practices are so different. They don't bulk up the meat w/ water, so meat is pure meat. Because they don't bulk w/ water, freezer burn isn't a problem and they warranty their vaccuum packing process for 18 months. I'm about to place my order. We eat smaller amounts of meat than most, so I'm getting some relatives to go half w/ us, since I think the couples package will still last us longer than 18 months, most likely. I do wish they would do smaller orders. The rep I'm dealing w/ throws in a free freezer as well.

    This more of a question than a comment! When I lived in Southern Alberta, I helped out a rancher who also raised free-range chickens. When it was time to market his chickens he gave me one. I had not had such delicious, roast chicken since I was very young, back in the early 50's. It is my ferveent hope that your chickens are at least close to what I remember. Poultry farms today are truly a disgrace to farming. We should never put profit ahead of the quality of food produced.

    Love it. That's what I need because of my health issues. The only thing that concerns me is in your video I heard you say the last half of their life they are pasture raised. How are they raised the first half?

    I really like places that treat their animals well. I almost became a vegan, not because I am against eating animals, but because I hate the mistreatment of animals in the industry.

    This is a wonderful initiative which you guys are doing it. Helping the farmers ,helping the community, feeding the right food. Thanks a lot ..my only two cents is,could you please provide the customized menu or app where the customer can automatically select the items S per their requirements. Appreciate the option of interacting with one of your representatives on customizing the plan but I feel having one pricelist & number of products and plans like every other e-commerce application.

    The best thing about these chickens...they're not monsters. Our wings are the size of wings from the 80s. Not these massive tasteless wings you see in restaurants today.

    I was a vegan. But at this time I can't be vegan because kind of expensive for me and I decided to eat just chickens which is hard for me!! I love animals. Yesterday I went to metro and I bought chickens. But the future again I'm going back to vegan life style. I like this farm because at least animals have a healthy and happy life before they ....!!

    Watched your video. Thanks for the informative video and for the wonderful work you do to treat the animals humanely and keep everything safe. When chickens are cooped up in the factory-farms, they are breeding grounds for illness, disease, and the meat is of low quality. Well-treated animals that are fed healthy natural foods and left to peck as they wish, provide an entirely different, healthy, far superior quality of meat. I will be placing my order soon!

    How big are your chicken tractors?
    They are huge. How many birds each?
    Makes my two 5' x 8' tractors look tiny.
    I raise 30 Cornish Cross (15 in each tractor) in my 66' x 40' (2,640 sq. ft.) garden sized area every year.
    The first 3 days they stay 48 hours because they are small, then moved daily.
    Do the math, I do it and you can too :)

      Those chickens are very young and don't have full feathers in yet. These are fast-growing meat birds, so they will be ready for market shortly after they develop a full plume :) Hope that helps!

    • @deborahtoupin6800
      @deborahtoupin6800 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I grew in the country with our chickens in a hen house they wanted into at night, if it got chilly or wet- running free would not be safe or kind - there are predators too. (Stray dog or fox). Now would you or your dog want to be outside all night?

  • @coziii.1829
    @coziii.1829 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    A real farm lets them run free
    Not a giant chicken tractor.
    Wow
