      yeah, that happens to all chooks eggs when they dont just get wheat... I worked at Bartters before they bought steggles and baiada bought them out.
      M granma knew Mr bartter and his older brother. my brother and I met them both. They owned half the wheat belt and wanted to do something with the wheat to value add hence bartters eggs which no longer exists bought by pace eggs. The chickens ate Wheat making cheap eggs. All this high quality means Extra cost so china can come in and buy everything............................................................................... like they bought the lobster industry WA.

    Im all for simply saying these eggs are cheaper because they are fed wheat... or corn fed

    I love this so much awesome. I have a few questions if you have time. How often are the chickens moved in pasture? What grains and seeds etc do they eat? Do you do composting or just let the animals compost as they move around by themselves. You mentioned chili garlic etc how much do you use in water feed etc. I appreciate any help you have.

    • @chillidonela

      Nicole at Jamberoo Mountain farm moves her chickens every week. She uses a stock feed company Vella, you can search them up. And she lets the animals move around on pasture. I don't know how much garlic and chilli she uses, I will ask and get back to you soon.

    You asked all the right questions! That was interesting. Are they building up the soil to farm vegetable or to feed more cattle? I suppose either would be a good reason.

    • @chillidonela
      @chillidonela  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      They have a veggie patch, but they are mainly just building up the soil for healthier pastures for the cattle and chickens.

    Corn fed or wheat fed make things cheaper. A monthly multi vitamin will make your chooks healthy.
