I love this so much awesome. I have a few questions if you have time. How often are the chickens moved in pasture? What grains and seeds etc do they eat? Do you do composting or just let the animals compost as they move around by themselves. You mentioned chili garlic etc how much do you use in water feed etc. I appreciate any help you have.
Nicole at Jamberoo Mountain farm moves her chickens every week. She uses a stock feed company Vella, you can search them up. And she lets the animals move around on pasture. I don't know how much garlic and chilli she uses, I will ask and get back to you soon.
You asked all the right questions! That was interesting. Are they building up the soil to farm vegetable or to feed more cattle? I suppose either would be a good reason.
Love your channel and love this interview. So inspiring! 🇦🇺

They have a veggie patch, but they are mainly just building up the soil for healthier pastures for the cattle and chickens.
Keep it eggciting!
Keep up the good work
Thank you
Aww.. she just answered that
Interesting to notice that while she says"you know" a lot,she doesnt use "like" as a filler.Jusr something that stood out to me listening to her.

Did regenerative management helped with the soil's water retention?
Yes it does! Its amazing how much improvement it makes.
13:26 loved this.. very informative.. do you know if her eggs are sold in Bega???

My hometown! :) Go Bega!
Did she mean pastured, not pasteurized? I think so.
Pasture raised not pasteurized
Corn fed or wheat fed make things cheaper. A monthly multi vitamin will make your chooks healthy.
Cities suck
