Leggy, great video as usual. I agree with you about the performance. I sprayed it on my hand in the store and it lasted maybe 3 hours before it was gone. It’s quite weak. I have a recommendation: try Fragrance World Oniro (the purple bottle). It’s very close to Invictus Aqua and the performance is really good - like 7-8 hours. I couldn’t really distinguish between Invictus Aqua and Oniro. Also, like you I am a massive Invictus fanboy. I got the Invicto Intense off your recommendation and I love it so much. My favourite Invictus clone is still Victorioso Legend. But Invicto Intense is just a gorgeous dark boozy fragrance that’s a close second 😅

Great review Jon , I don't own the 2024 release but I am lucky enough to have 2 bottles of the original 2016 version, and that lives up to its reputation as an amazing long lasting scent for a Aqua fragrance. It sounds like this new 2024 version is indeed a "frustrating " fragrance as you correctly describe them, like Hugo Boss the Scent .....Stunning Stunning smell , but it's gone within the hour sadly. Keep them coming as I'm sure you have more fragrances to share with us . Have a fantastic weekend Jon

Have you smelled the Invictus Aqua 2016? I’ve heard the 2024 is supposed to basically be a rerelease of 16. But I’ve also heard it’s slightly off of the 2016 and lacks performance.
Funny you say that because I have it, and it’s up the corner macerating…. Because a couple of weeks ago when I first got it it was kinda very synthetic and was gone within the hour…. So I’m hoping it will improve 😬……JL
I'm glad i didn't buy this 2024 version. I heard it has bad performance. (I have 2016 and 2018, the 2016 version is pretty solid in performance and the 2018 version isnt bad). When Invictus aqua 2016 was released people were complaining that it didnt have the performance of the original Invictus EDT.
Hello Jon i have the original Invictus as well. I also have lattafa Nadja. Lattafa Nadja smells like Invictus. Its beautiful. Very good performance and projection as well. And I think I have reviewed it a long time ago…however in my humble opinion the best Invictus clone is Invicto by fragrance world….it’s even better than Invictorioso by maison Alhambra…..trust me….🤩…. 2024 aqua lasts forever especially for a fresh fragrance and it's loud.....you must have the driest skin on the planet if it doesn't perform for u man..... also its pretty synthetic which causes nose blindness..... so id say u are just going nose blind

@@JONLEGG there's just no way. Are you familiar with nose fatigue? I have the same problem with instant crush. I don't smell it at all after a few hours of wearing it but it lasts well over 12hrs. Synthetic fragrances do that all the time to our noses
I understand the nose blindness thing and I’m starting to think that my skin is eating this particular fragrance because I keep asking people if they can smell it on me and they can only smell it right on the skin…. But maybe I accept that it is just me and not the fragrance….😬….JL
@@JONLEGG do you moisturize your skin and how many sprays do you do? That matters big time. I lotion my skin 2 times a day and stuff lasts all day on me. Makes a huge difference. If u got dry skin your skin will absolutely absorb it so quick
Nivea for men is applied twice a day, and I do 4 sprays around my neck, a couple on the chest, one on each arm, one on the top of my head and haze over T-shirt….crazy thing is that Maison Alhambra Myth (a clone of Invictus legend) goes all day for me….so my conclusion is that it’s not this fragrance at fault but rather the way my skin deals with it…..🙃…..JL

I get a good hour and a half to 2 hours I get 7 to 8 hours of longevity with it
