I’m not that technical but from what I understand the fragrance juice needs to be airated…..ie when you spray some out it allows for an intake of air that goes into the bottle and then makes a macceration process. So I guess that until it is sprayed macceration does not take place. This is what I do with everything (designer, budget,niche) as far as I am aware what I have said is correct…. If someone else knows more technical stuff then I’m sure they will post here for you. JL

BR540 is something that is cloned in abundance…..the Zara is a very good choice and perhaps when you have finished your current bottle then you can replace it with this Lattafa….😉. I understand the need to exercise caution and restraint when buying fragrance as it is so difficult not to just keep adding more to your collection….. I respect your mindset on this one. I’m thinking you need to get a decant so you can try it out properly ….honestly it is a very clever fragrance….the sharpness of the lavender surrounded by the sweetness of the lemon and the creaminess of the gorgeous vanilla….perhaps you just picked out the lavender??? I guess it does come across as synthetic….a long term powerhouse fragrance it is but to me it’s very artificial….not the worst ever but it doesn’t do much for me. And yes someone who I sprayed it for told me it smells like a kitchen surface cleaning spray..😂😂😂😂…… best wishes from JL

I guess it isn’t everyone’s cup of tea (so to speak) and yes it is a very punchy and pungent violet…. I can understand why you feel that way about it….as it does have a certain aggressive tone that makes itself very distinctive……😬……!!! Good question my friend, yes lucky is my all time favourite 1 million followed by elixir and Royal….having said that Prive is my go to for the cold weather because it is built for that season. All other 1 million can be worn all season but Prive can only be worn in cold weather and therefore it is definitely worthy of a place in any collection because it is something to look forward to when the weather gets cooler and summer is over. Thank you for your question my friend, I will be honest and say that I have never actually had a genuine compliment from this one….it does project nicely for some time but for the most part it sits quite close. Having said that I just perhaps haven’t worn it near someone who would make a compliment……JL
