I just bought one of these units. Spent hours on it the first time I tried it at home. Couldn’t stop playing. Ran it through a DAW and studio monitors. Dialed in a great base sound and tweaked it about as much as I would with a regular amp so not a lot. Ran a Klon clone and EC expander into it and FX looped a delay and univibe. Everything worked great and compared to lugging heavy amps to gigs where I can’t turn them up anyway it’s an excellent alternative. Will be used in a funk / beach duo with tracks and female singer. She loves it too. So easy to blend into the mix. Happy I bought it. 100% I also should mention I’ve owned and gigged just about every collectible Marshall / Boogie / Fender over 40 + years of playing. I use a ‘75 Strat and a 335.
That's awesome you got to visit Quilter Labs! Is that in or near Costa Mesa where QSC's office is, and did you get to meet Pat? I passed up a job a couple years ago at QSC, I wanted to meet him so badly. They said they call him 'Gipetto' because he is always tinkering with new products for the Quilter line. Congrats on the privilege to visit the lab!
