I really do admire your openness and appreciation to new breeds of music. Since Polyphia has been evolving constantly, I'd love to see your reaction to their older music, preferably 'Euphoria' from their 2016 Renaissance LP. The song features Blond Tim and 'the best hook in the world' as Tim said :)
loving your content! been following Polyphia for a few years now and the progression in their skill mainly Tim's is insane, i have another video for you to react to with the guitarists Ichika Nito and Manuel Gardner-Fernandes, all you need to search is "Manuel vs Ichika" and its the first video, insane precise playing
Animals as Leaders is another band kinda similar to Polyphia you should check out. "The Brain Dance" (live Dunlop session) is one of my favorites but their new album has some great songs as well. From that album, I recommend the "Red Miso" drum playthrough. Matt Garstka is one of the best drummers in the business (in my opinion at least). I'd also second anything anyone else has said about Devin Townsend.
This is a mind-bending, polyrhythmic eargasm at it's very best! There's never been anything even close to this before or since and there probably never will be! Singularly unique musical mastery without compromise!
The way that you got hit in the 'feels' with Tom Mcdonald's tune the other day ... well this G.O.A.T. tune hit me pretty emotionally when I first heard it. I can't even explain why ... If you are into something that might completely surprise you and knock your socks off ... I'd like to see how you react to a band that is primarily know as a progressive metal act with their roots in technical death metal ... EASY NOW SALTY , Lol ... I promise you that it's not what you think. I saw how you reacted to Both Polyphia songs and I know what elements of the songs took your breath away. You seem like you would really appreciate a drummer that is a stand alone tallent. I've got a treat for you. You want to hear something amazing that you would never have heard of without trusting ??? From one Salty Old Man to another ... my kids brought this to me a year or so ago and it is still on my daily playlist. Trust that I've got your best musical experience intentioned. Let's see what you think of 'GOJIRA - AMAZONIA" . Looking forward to seeing you hear/see this for the first time. Lol ... or maybe you already know it and I'm preaching to the choir ???
I am intrigued. This is the second time I have been told "Gojira" .. And if we were talking about crappy sci-fi, I would say I have seen it. But, in this case, I have no idea. So, I will trust you and add that to the list!!
You should definitely react to more of Tim Henson’s videos on his channel, one of my favorites is his “Jared dines biggest shred” video on Tim’s channel.
Love seeing how mach you're enjoying Polyphia. I recently discovered them too and they have taken over my playlist. I'd love to see you react to something a little heavier. Have you heard Static-x before? One of my favorite bands ever. Check out Push it by Static-x, I'd love to see what you think of their sound, style and visuals.
Just discovered your channel today, definitely watching more of you. A recommendation for you would be Sleep Token if you've never heard of them. Very emotional and heavy music if you enjoy any of that.
Hey Salty, I too just recently discovered Polyphia and you're right, they are awesome! If you want a line on another amazing artist, please check out the song "Kingdom" by Devin Townsend. The TH-cam version you want is the live on EMGTV one. I promise you will love it. And with a 30yr career, you will have plenty of Heavy Devy to listen to if you dig it as much as I did.
Drums are SMOKIN!✌️❤️🔥🎶💯😁 You should try Falling in Reverse! Ronnie's a GENIUS! 🤘🤘🤘🤘 Read your bio. My dad retired from IBM a LONG time ago! 30yrs. RIP DAD!🥺
If you've got the testicular fortitude to listen to and react to some TRULY incredible metal, I suggest Machine Head's "Choke On The Ashes Of Your Hate!" Again, I'm 45 years old and know the difference between bullshit and REAL MUSIC!! I'd also like to suggest pretty much ANY Tool song because they're ALL amazing! Trust me on this!! I'll never steer you wrong Grasshopper!
Just found your channel Salty, great reaction
Thank you, James. I appreciate that.

Did you see they made one with Steve Vai called Ego Death? It's amazing.
I haven't watched it yet. Hope to get to it soon!!!

I like the ones where he reacts to people covering his songs. His personality is friggin priceless. lol
The Polyphia hype is real, the song 40oz would be perfect for a react, though my personal favorite is Nasty
Doooope! Ok next check out their song “Yas! Feat. Chon” it’s soooo tasty 🤤
Adding it to the list!! Thank you so much.
@@SaltyReacts thank YOU bro I love your reactions 🔥

Looking forward to the video!
Please do the 40oz video! It'll have you laughing your ass off!
I am seriously intrigued now. I have heard this suggestion a few times. Adding to my list.
If you’d like to dive into some metal, I’d suggest any song by Jinjer! The band is absolutely next level!

Sleep Token. Adding to my list of goodies! Thank you!!
@@SaltyReacts Check out Blood Sport From the room below 👍
Sir you might want to check out the channel of "Ichika Nito", a japanese musician who specializes in fingerstyle guitar

I was going to give you a heads up for the Falling in Reverse post .. BUT, I just saw your comment on there. Thanks, Spunky.
Check out Gojira, brother!
Will do. Suddenly I feel compelled to go watch that old Matthew Broderick movie.
@@SaltyReacts That’s a lot of fish!

Oh Damn .. I love Steve and have NOT seen his latest stuff. Thank you!!
