Yo this is Bruce, I've been walking since 1982. If you don't remember the whole crew Rodger, Vinny, Archie, Frenchie and Sab. We are the original Lower East Side Crew. Man I'm coming up on 57 years old. And I can't believe I made it this far. And I want to give props to Rodger God bless you on your recovery and staying clean from that awful disease of cancer. I love you bro enjoy your retirement in Arizona. God bless you and your family and hope to see you soon on the road. I live in Florida as well. Much love to the younger crew keeping Hardcore alive.
Warms my heart that old school hardcore/crossover can have millions of hits! The attitude of this music probably saved my life during my teen years in the late 90's.
Saw them live 2 days ago in NYC alongside with Claustrophobia, Obituary and Sepultura. The way AF engaged the crowd was phenomenal, epic performance and I still have to fully recover from my ear loss. This was my favorite song of the night!
I would like to dedicate this song to all the people I hold high and praise as my dearly beloved. Thanks for translating my thoughts and feelings AF. Rock on!
My Favorite NYHC BAND! I miss you CBGBs and Tompkins,C squat and L.E.S! Best hardcore band Ever! I still have my "AGNOSTIC FRONT LIVE AT CBGBS" Tshirt I got when I was 10! Love from a L.E.S girl!

Listen to this band since I was 15 and today at 48 I think they are even better than they used to be ... but they have stayed true to the oldskool vibes ... For my family says it all ... Oi Oi from Germany, cologne
YAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!!!! Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!! That’s so fantastic!!!!! You’re going to knock everyone’s socks off! What is the name of your band by the way?
I grew up pretty sheltered in deep Brooklyn, going to shitty private religious schools. Ended up getting kicked out of that community for my atheism, my queerness and my overall rejection for authority and I eventually discovered the hardcore scene. I dealt with all sorts of addictions when I was left all alone and somehow music and the spirit of rebellion against the odds is what saved me from being oblivious and now I fight like hell every day. This past summer I’ve been going to shows in Tompkins ever since and never looking back. Sorry I discovered y’all too late. Keep raging ppl 🤘
i love AF even though i never see them live since i listen to their records one of NYHC legend...lots of kids from my scene love this band. respect from Cebu City, Philippines.
they come to my hometown!!! and my hometown is on the ass off germany, and they play a show here!!!! can't wait to mosh with my best friends to this kick ass stuff!
For my family for my friends for those that we've lost I sing this is a message, this is for you never forget the lower east side crew! I remember all times we spent and all that we went through down on avenue A the year was 1982! HARDCORE! New York City! NEW YORK! that's how we live it! we always stuck together we always had something to prove we gave birth to a movement this is for the old school and the new! HARDCORE! New York City! NEW YORK! that's how we live it!
My friend said he used to live next door to these cats when he lived in Denver, many many moons ago... Damn! I bet that was a fun, nerve-wracking, and fast-paced neighborhood, that's for sure!! LOL!!🎉🎉
My dad will never stop going on about how it just isn't the same, but everyday i listen to the music that he did, it's the same, just different times, different style, still the same hardcore
Man, I met Roger Miret in New Orleans at a Disasters show, he was a little short and stocky and had his shirt off with that chest tattoo. I shook his hand and said great show and this legend of a dude looks at 16 year old snaggle tooth me in my horrible clothes going thru an idiotic stage in my adolescence and says "thanks brother". Goddamn man. What a genuinely decent dude

@Midnight ToMidnight you're an outsider looking in. This video is 30 years after their prime. If you grew up in the scene in NYC you would have appreciated it, going to Sunday matinees to watch 10 of these bands play back to back to back.
@@robbieb2011 no doubt brother. Im a huge fan of punk but growing up going to the NYHC shows every fuckin weekend is something I think you have to experience to appreciate.

There is some guy out there in the basement of the internet looking down on everyone who can't identify everyone in this video. His mom thinks he is cool.
Growing up in the 90’s in the punk scene was a crazy time. I even got to meet Stigma a couple times. He actually took me and a bunch of us from Baltimore bar hopping around the lower east side. Great fucking guys, great fucking band. At 42 I still love this music.
Dajymn .....seems some things do get better situaciones age...Ive always loved agnostic front, especially their early stuff but "my family" takes first place hands down
I saw Motörhead in like 2007 and it happened by chance because my cousin bought the ticket to the show but it landed on his daughters birthday so he couldn't go so he drove me there and picked me up afterwards. I saw them in this little club Riley's Bar with a bunch of bikers and biker chicks. One girl yelled at me to get a drink because I was sober and i had $8 and bought as strong of a drink as i could get. It eas great!
Agnostic Front fans gotta love Baltimore bands VSD and Speaking In Tongues. Both can be found on youtube. VSD was around way back in the day when AF was kicking out " Victim in Pain" and " Cause for Alarm".
+jangleballer I wouldn't say that so much but I will say they stopped being a hardcore band a long time ago in favor of this from the streets of New York-inspired pseudo-metal. And if that's what they want to play, hey, good for them. It won't take away the good hardcore albums they did back when.
+Fwuffy Da Destwoyah This is straightforward hc. They have done some Hatebreed-esque metalcore (like the AF song "peace"), but this aint it... not metal at all! No metal riffs, just normal punk chords. Don't know what you're hearing.
jangleballer That's your opinion. I was talking to the other guy who said it was metal. It's hardcore punk (bad hc punk according to you; I like it fine).
Cheetah Chrome It's mostly HC. I agree with you. The lyrics are so played out that I can't even begin to describe. "NYC...hardcore....lower east side...1982....started a movement....Stigma....for my family...the message." sounds like a parrot.
For our families, friends, girlfriends! We must bring back the power and days of old! Allegiance! The Brighter Side of Suffering!
