If, when you invert the bottle with the cap at the bottom, you put a spoonful of aquarium gravel into the cap it will prevent blockage of the drainage hole. Two or three holes would help too.

We call them Vietnam Rose and 10 o'clock Flowers in our country. They grow very easily just by cutting and then plant them in soil. They bloom more flowers and grow better with sunshine.
