Saw these guys last night (with GVF). Musically, I was pleased with the show but for them to be as successful as they deserve, I feel like they need to have more of a stage presence. Josh Kiszka is a great example of what they need to imitate. They need to act as if they own the stage. At times it felt like they were a deer in headlights and intimidated by the size of the crowd. Open up, move around more. I realize Chris is more or less anchored by the drum trigger pedal, but placing additional pedals around the stage, much as Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammett does with wah pedals, could alleviate that problem. I really do like their homage to American roots music and hope to see and hear more from them.
