I find metal to be one genre of music i find its more gems then dirt, Unlike all the other totally brain washed forms of music no surprise that they are the music promoted to the masses to keep them stupid. Metal is the only music that keeps it real!
This band went from being absolutely the best alive band in the genre, to a totally forgotten one, so sad
The new vocalist ruined them. Just like how he is going to ruin Thy Art. Why are Aussie metal bands so dumb? It used to be a really good scene but now it’s just sad. The USA is definitely leading the charge again with good underground stuff. Was rooting for Oz but oh well.

For me, their best songs are so good because of brutal riffs + beautiful (and simple) melodies. Their new songs have weaker melodies (and there is no more space/alien atmosphere). As I understand, it's hard to make something beautiful and in the same time simple.
I don't know who write their songs (especially melodic parts), but he is the reason)
On the bright side now we have Summoning The Lich which is arguably better than Aversions Crown.

i will forever miss Mark in AC. no other band has had the same influence as you guys. Xenocide will always be my all time favorite album and Erebus will always be my all time favorite song. Much love and I wish only the best to Mark and AC.

I love metal that is 100% incomprehensible and just has a fat fucking slam every 30 seconds to bang my head too, but this is really god damn well written. Instrumental composition is great, lyrics are surprisingly poetic but not too "scene-y," and I'm loving that artwork too.

this song is without a doubt one of greates songs i have heard. i can not stop listening to it. it just gets better and better ever time i hear it.
I have never experienced a song like this. this song is addicting and is amongst my favorite songs of all time. musically speaking they are breaking new ground. this song gives me chills down my spine every time. favorite part is 2:49 to 3:01. heaviest (with rythm mind you) band of all time. BUT, alien or not, the lyrics are disturbing. i don't know what to make of them. I feel guilty for liking the song, especially with how violent and disturbing the beginning is, aliencore or not. I'm a major metalhead, despite opeth and tool being my favorite bands, I obsess about the heaviness, rythm, singing and absolute pound of this song. I love it how the dude said : black Dahlia murder, rings of Saturn and Whitechapel had a baby. AND THIS GUY CAN SING LIKE ALL 3 OF THOSE BANDS. so impressive, these guys are a movement that need promotion and recognition. this song is freaking amazing.

Erebus, in Greek mythology, is a god above gods in a way, a "primordial deity". He and his only sibling Nyx, the goddess of night, were both born of the god Chaos. In this track, however, it seems as if Erebus refers to a being named "Nexus" as a father. That, or "Nexus father" means something "the father OF the nexus". Either way I'd be really interested to know where that line came from, because even though I'm nerding out on a technicality it's cool as hell.
From what I heard, Erebus is the primordial diety of chaos and advanced, supernatural, divine darkness where as Nyx is just night darkness. Erebus' darkness think of the brightest flashlight and it doing NOTHING to the darkness he makes, scary stuff

I agree. Trust me, I had never heard the legend that is Dickie Allen, until the new Infant Annihilator album dropped. (which is easily one of the best deathcore albums of all time) I was shocked at how great Allen is, and I think he can go toe to toe with Travis Ryan. Amazing.

This version is so much better than the redo on the album. They added way too much to the redo in an attempt to make it “better”, but it only really became over saturated
