You have given out quite a lot of information here about your planned Afternoon Tea book - a terrific and possibly really quite commercial idea, but one that’s easily lifted and copied by an unscrupulous publisher or writer here in the U.K.or abroad. I did deliberate about whether or not to share my idea, however, it really is a very generic description of my idea. If someone wants to steal it, let them - it still won't be the one I would make x
My Ex-boyfriend is a scriptwriter and he always told me, share your plans with everyone, it is compliment if somebody steals your idea. At they end of the day, you need to share it with somebody. Otherwise it will always be an idea. And I dont think that a publisher will publish a coffee table book from an unknown person. If I want to steal Nicolas idea, I cannot knock on door from a publisher. I couldn't even sell it to all my family members :) And I have a big family!

After watching your last video, I was inspired to create what I am calling my “library table”. My dining room table was basically under utilized space and so I stacked up some of my favorite coffee table, health, lifestyle books, added a candle and my grandmothers beautiful china teapot, etc. Now I sit there every morning with my ideas journal as I drink my coffee and comb through whatever book appeals to me at that moment. Your clothing advice is 'spot-on' Nicolas. One thing that made a tremendous difference to my outfits was realising that belts needed to be an inch or so higher on my body otherwise I looked disproportionate.

I have looked at your TH-cam suggestions and other suggestions mentioned here (Audrey Coyne, Olivia's Romantic Home, Cottage Fairy, Jonna Jinton, Christine McConnell, Kylie Flavell, John MacLean) and to be honest, I think I prefer your Channel. The others are too schmaltzy or over stylised. Yours is homely but still stylish.

After watching your last video, I was inspired to create what I am calling my “library table”. My dining room table was basically under utilized space and so I stacked up some of my favorite coffee table, health, lifestyle books, added a candle and my grandmothers beautiful china teapot, etc. Now I sit there every morning with my ideas journal as I drink my coffee and comb through whatever book appeals to me at that moment. Just found you recently. Virginia, USA here. You have inspired me in so many ways. As a woman of a certain age, I need to do the big clear out. And needed a nudge to edit my things. You are providing that.
I, too, love afternoon tea. We have a great mag called TeaTime to which I subscribe for inspiration. Many nice tea collectibles have found their way into my cabinets Ike lemon servers, etc. My RD pot is a great favorite. Rose designs are my thing!
Today I picked hydrangeas from my bush that has 65 blooms and am enjoying them in a French style flower container. Get a small house. You’ll love tending even a small garden.

Might I suggest also a book about living well - the daily routines and rituals that keep one's home a clean, tranquil sanctuary, as well as those that make life beautiful and help us stayed 'pulled together' in the midst of modern life. I think it would run off the shelves as it has never been more needed. As to the 'risk' of a book, you have 100,000 subscribers, I am sure a publisher will be snapping you up any moment now.

I have looked at your TH-cam suggestions and other suggestions mentioned here (Audrey Coyne, Olivia's Romantic Home, Cottage Fairy, Jonna Jinton, Christine McConnell, Kylie Flavell, John MacLean) and to be honest, I think I prefer your Channel. The others are too schmaltzy or over stylised. Yours is homely but still stylish.
