This was terrible. You don’t show how to deal with the pressure building up in the vial preventing you from inserting all 10 ml

That was the point of adding the exact measurement of air within syringe

@@troopertreyy4759I've tried that and it actually doesn't work.

When vet at clinic showed me yesterday, he pulled syringe back to 10 ml, inserted in saline, pulled out 10 ml liquid, he then put saline into medicine vial, shake shake, until it comes completely clear, then pulled air into another/new syringe to 5ml, pushed air back into vile, then pulled liquid medicine into syringe to fill at 5ml, and there ya go. He stressed the air being of utmost importance 😅

That was wrong. You should always inject air first in the powder vial to reales the pressure, then u can do the sterile vial with air and draw then simply inject into powder and no need for your finger to almost break while forcefully pushing. We learn together 👏

thank you, came here for this. If some of the mixture comes back up into the mixing syringe, would it destroy the peptide structure?

Is it wrong if I over-reconstitute? Our vials don't have instructions on them and the pharmacy doesn't sent notes regarding reconstituting so when I'm unsure about how much saline is required to reconstitute a certain medication I just over reconstitute it (because I believe that over-reconstituting is safer than under-reconstituting).
Some medications are to be reconstituted with 5ml of saline or water and others are to be reconstituted with 10ml.
So is it wrong if I reconstitute a medication with 10ml when it should be just 5ml?

If the vial does not come with instructions then we suggest contacting your pharmacy for clarification. Many facilities also have an internal drug guide system you may be able to use. Without the instructions, you are missing the amount but also the reconstitution solution (NS vs water). The concern with over-reconstituting is that the concentration will not be what was intended.

Looks like there was some fancy editing going on there... it would be helpful if you had done this before and could explain how to deal with the back pressure without cutting the camera and pretending it didn't happen.

You didn’t swab the tops with alcohol…
ALWAYS use alcohol swabs even with new vials, especially with patients who have a compromised immune system as you are taking an unnecessary risk of infection.

A filtered venting pin will equalise the pressure in the water vial when withdrawing and it’s safer than 10ml of ambient air

Should it not be done like HGH? You take a syringe already containing a diluent and inject it into a vial containing the powder. Tilt the vial so that the needle touches the vial wall. Avoiding injecting the diluent directly into the powder.

Certain peptides require this, but it's a good practice, just to be safe!

Hey Doctor? I’ve been experiencing foamy urine for 5 months now after I was given a brain cat scan that was unauthorized and not needed because nothing was wrong with me at all. I also now have these sharp pains on top of my head that come and go and move from the right of the scalp to the left. I also have a white tongue! I got my urine checked and everything is completely normal there is no protein in the urine. That CT scan did some things to my body and all I had was a minor allergic reaction to a spicy sandwich and the incompetent nurse gave me a CT- Scan for a reaction that resolved on its own and the doctor said he doesn’t know why they did a scan and that nothing is wrong with me. Now I am being told it may be Staphylococcus Capitis! Any recommendations? I wake up once a night to urinate. Im also now having pain in my kidneys in the back and strange pains on top of my head that move from the right to the left. All these problems after they did a malpractice on me by giving me a CT Scan. The pain on my head is not a headache but deep pain that comes and goes. I’m also a man

You're supposed to shoot all of his stuff in very slowly as careful not to denature the protein, never shake the bottle you simply roll it to slowly mix everything together.

Right. Aim the diluent at the side of the vial, and roll or swirl NEVER SHAKE to mix peptide w bacstat h2o.
