Great video. I opted for a small trailer as I keep my boat inflated for the summer. Wish I would have seen this a year ago as I was setting up beach side. Moving the thing was awful. Hence the trailer.
Yes, these boats can get quite heavy and difficult to move especially with just one person. Thanks for watching, and if you enjoyed the content, you know what to do!
Yes, this is much better than lugging it up and down the boat ramp. Glad you found the video useful. Thanks for watching, and if you enjoyed the content, you know what to do!
Nice, I have the same boat, different wheels, but I just lay the front end onto a Harbor Freight 4-wheel 18"×12" dolly($13) and you can easily roll it by hand in or out of the ramp, no hitch needed! Just another practical and inexpensive option! Those wheels are nice though, it's an advantage not risking to have deflated tires!
I really need to do something like this. I purchased a 430 Swellfish that weights 260lbs alone. The 20hp weights about 100lb. With all my gear it's about 400 lbs. I installed 12" Brocraft launching wheels. I've been searching for an option to tow out of the water, up the ramp and out of the way of others to pack up. Thanks for sharing.
Yes, these things do get quite heavy with all of our gear loaded into them. The ramps around me are far too busy to allow me to unload gear to make it lighter. I have to get down the ramp and get out as quick as possible. Thanks again for watching and glad you found this video useful!
Thanks! This should be enjoyable, I try to make the whole setup and launch process as easy as possible. Thanks for watching, and if you enjoyed the content, you know what to do!
This is the motor dolly: amzn.to/3Q542rL Unfortunately, it appears to be out of stock at this time. Also, my wheels will look a little different since I upgraded them on my dolly. Thanks for watching, and if you enjoyed the content, you know what to do!
You have everything list that's on your boat apart from the one thing that video is all about! Where did you get the bit you attached to your tow hitch so you can launch the boat?
Here is a link to the hook I used: amzn.to/3xZSEDl The reason I don't list this setup is because different vehicles will require different adapters to get the desired height and length. Example: a car will probably require more height and less length, or a lifted truck may require a drop down adapter instead of one that lifts the hitch up, etc.
Hey there! Love the set up. I just bought the exact same boat for me and my son. Can you please let me know what type of under seat storage that is? Thanks!!
The yellow inflator is made by Saturn and I got it off Amazon also: amzn.to/446Udg3 I usually use a small leaf blower to inflate the boat quickly, then finish topping the boat off with the yellow inflator. Thanks for watching, and if you enjoyed the content, you know what to do!
Smart minds think alike! I’m doing exactly the same thing with my sib on a regular 2” tow ball with 8 inch rise position so it gives enough clearance off the ground above inflatable keel, and if the ramp is pretty sloped then my Range Rover can raise suspension to add some extra clearance. But watch out pot holes for the transom wheels, one of my rubber wheels got ripped in half cuz it got stuck in a pot hole. Other than that it works like a mini trailer;)
Awesome, I knew I couldn't have been the only one that thought of doing this! I always take it nice and slow when moving the boat around this way and luckily the parking lots at the ramps I use are pretty well maintained. Thanks for watching and please consider subscribing if you haven't already done so!
Hi sir quick question can I trail the boat for short distances? For example I got camping and I would like to take my boat from the camp site to the launching ramp … Short distances like 200-500M max and low speed of course … I have Transom wheels but the ones with tubes not solid plastic
I have the 10.8' Bris with Aluminum flooring and heat welded seams. I've had it for 2 years now and am very happy with it. Thanks for watching and please consider subscribing if you enjoy my videos!
I love your setup but i think a small trailer will make it easier i have an inflatable one on a trailer i got to the point now i lunch and retrieve without touching the water
I'd love to leave the boat on a trailer, unfortunately, I have no where to store a trailer, which is why I bought an inflatable boat. Thanks for watching, and if you enjoyed the content, you know what to do!
This is the AQUOS EASYMATE. Here is a link to it on Amazon: amzn.to/3s1Ktq2 It seems to be currently out of stock. Thanks for watching, and if you enjoyed the content, you know what to do!
This is the Aquos Easy Mate motor stand. I've added different wheels to it to suit my needs, but otherwise it's the same as when I purchased it. I plan to do a review on it in the future. I do have an assembly video of it on my channel. It's working out great for me and I don't have to lift the motor anymore. Thanks for watching and please consider subscribing if you haven't already done so!
Just a couple minutes. This isn't really a time saver, it's more about not having to huff it up and down the boat ramp risking busting my butt on a steep, slick boat ramp. Thanks for watching and please consider subscribing if you enjoy the content!
Yes, I don't 100% trust that one D-ring which is why I have now run a rope through all three like I mentioned I would eventually do. I forgot to mention it in this video, but I also loosely tie a safety rope from one of the boat handles to the bed of my truck just in case the D-ring was to let loose. Thanks for the comment and for watching! Please consider subscribing if you haven't already done so, thanks!
Many of the boat ramps I use are steep and very slick. Twice I was unable to get enough traction to pull the boat out by hand and required the assistance of another person. Not to mention, it was pretty sketchy going down some of them. Due to this, I decided using my 4x4 truck was a better option for me. If I could launch on a nice flat beach then yeah I'd launch it by hand every time. Thanks for watching and please consider subscribing if you haven't already done so!

@@inflatableboating745 Hi I'm thinking of getting an inflatable boat and I want the set up to be as quick and easy as possible as well as in my neck of the woods (UK) theres so many people about in summer I just want in and out as quick as possible so I'm thinking of transporting my boat to the water and back inflated on the roof rack of my truck or van, although what you have done here looks quick enough. @@dennisdunbar2340 I have considered the partially deflated method but haven't tried it yet. I am in the same boat (no pun intended) where I do not have room for a trailer, But, I did pick up a trailer (not for highway use) that can be used to launch your inflatable from once you are down at the ramp.
