Another good one is forgetting to vent the gas tank, you'll stall going into gear but might work at idle and reverse.. That was a fun realization

How did you solve the stupid inflation connector. It's not a standard HR connector and is not available anywhere. I want to use a better pump.

I have an RV and will only use it 5 or 6 times a season. I don't have a way to get one to the lake with the RV other then an inflatable so i bought one. Hope it last a couple of seasons at least.

2 years is great value imo for something like this. This is definitely and entry level kayak to see if you're interested in kayaking.

I'm on my thirds inflatable boat. 3.4 m Zodiac. An engine that is too heavy to carry or lift easily is a real burden. Given how little time is spent on the plane, I have downsized to a more portable engine. Transom wheels are a game changer. Choose good ones with pneumatic tyres, and with legs long enough to keep the skeg of the outboard off the ground. An anchor is essential if you are going to picnic, swim, or fish. Folding grapnels are easy to store, but not very effective. Although the anchor goes over the bow (front) in use, store it at the stern (back) when not in use, so it rattles about less when the boat is moving. I always use a foot pump. Just build the time required into your plan for the day. Advantage, you can add more air if the boat loses a little bit of pressure in cold water. If the boat is left in direct sun, the pressure will increase and you may need to let a bit of air out. Practise assembling your boat on the lawn or drive at home, where there is no pressure of spectators or other boat owners wanting to launch. If you have sectional floor, support the bow slightly (the petrol/gas tank is ideal) before inserting the final 2 floor panels.

My inflatable boat does not have any seats, look for some type of bench to be a bit up out of the boat if that makes sense, any recommendations?

Hi sir quick question can I trail the boat for short distances? For example I got camping and I would like to take my boat from the camp site to the launching ramp … Short distances like 200-500M max and low speed of course … I have Transom wheels but the ones with tubes not solid plastic

Many of us done same thing, forgot to retract wheels lol, nothing embarrassing about it, i think its funny 😁

My 6hp tohatsu also bogged down initially when i used gasoline from cheaper gas station. After cleaning carb and started placing new gas it stopped bogging down

How do you get off mold?

I have always had leak problems, they were easy to patch on the tubes but now the valves…….it’s garbage.

That aluminum can become pretty hot during the summer. Other than that looks nice and durable.

I've had mine for two years, heavy dragging over concrete boat ramps and rocky lake shores, havent had an issue yet. I'm able to keep mine 80% inflated and throw it on top of the car, like you said i can get an hour or two after work to fish. Getting one on amazon and stress testing it before your return date is a great way to go! Glad you got the time you did with it!

Baby powder to all the joints and rails. Especially the final floor brace piece. Really helps it slide into place

This is PREINFLATED boat. Now you have to use High pressure air pump to reach 3.6 psi for main tubs and 10 psi for the keel

I bought mine to go out diving. Anchored it jumped in all great until trying to get back in. Next thing I got was a folding ladder problem solved. Very difficult to haul yourself with gear back in without it.

I couldn’t agree more……after 3 years of easy use, and many leaks, most of which occurred without relieving anyth8ng happened other than it started to lose air! Final leak, I could not find source so suspected it’s a value. So I junked it and have just purchased a Sea Eagle 330. Hoping better kyaking times ahead.
