R.I.P Radio man 🙏🏾 For those that don't know he used to sit at the bus stop at the intersection of 38th and College ( near this store) playing music on his boom box while dancing. He had been doing this since I was a kid and his mural is painted on the south side of the building. Thank you to whoever owns the building for paying respect

I'm an anime man and have been since subtitles on the original DBZ back in the 1990's. The art work is amazing on the building and really brings a nostalgic element to the area before you hit Ripple!

I work pretty close to there, might have to go check it out sometime. There's also a pretty cool Vintage Toy Store (mostly focusing on 80's stuff) about an hour north in Kokomo called "Kokomo Toys And Collectables" that is worth checking out.

The Gremlin game is from NES. It isn't bad, watch some playthroughs or play it yourself. You'll enjoy it, just gets harder during mid game once the Gremlins hatch.

I LITERALLY just passed this place on the way to Pots & Pans Pie Co. I was astounded by the outside of the place. It's HUGE! I definitely need to pay them a visit soon. Thanks for sharing your experience!!! :)

This toy store is like Ebay come to life (all the variety) for me since that's where I get all my stuff since no major toy stores or Targets and the like are near me.
I have it tagged now thanks for the recommendation. Not sure when we will get out there but we will definitely check it out. We are from the northwest Illinois burbs. But I kinda want to do filming locations for airborne in Ohio We are Planning trips to las Vegas and maybe Colorado at the moment.
I'm pretty sure this place just opened. I only discovered it a few days ago when picking up some pies on College Ave. I suspect their selection will grow soon. :)

Absolutely horrible location in Indy. One of these most dangerous intersections in the city. I can only imagine the amount of times this place will be broken into/attempted robberies. 😞
@@danielthomas8699 They had some in the glass cases around the perimeter. I don’t think I filmed most of them. I know I filmed the WWF and transformers cases. I usually look for Neca and funko stuff.
@@Qd322 It’s near the fairgrounds and John Dillinger’s grave. They have a huge parking lot so parking isn’t an issue. I looked it up and the area was on the list for worst areas but it was 7 on the list. It near a lot of other businesses on 38th street so during the day didn’t seem bad. It’s winter now and summer brings out the craziness.

Wow, you guys really just walked around saying toy names. I wish you had said anything about the store's history, the area, or interviewed anyone there - shoppers, workers, managers - anyone. What's the history of the space? Is this the only Toy Pit? in What part of town is this store located? What's that area like - trashy, dangerous, rough, rich and fancy? Are there any restaurants or other attractions nearby? Also, who DOESN'T wany a giant Indiana Jones toy!?!
@@SmartMoufShirts These are all good points. I’m a small channel that doesn’t do this full time . If I knew the algorithm would blow it up I would have done more. The channel just reached the 1000 subscribers mark because of this video. This videos view count has surpassed my highest video on the channel which took months to get there. My last couple videos got next to no views or likes. So I honestly feel silly asking people for interviews if I’m only getting 200 views. But if the collectible nitch on TH-cam is this welcoming I will definitely do more! Unlike most TH-camrs I have a lot of kids which makes doing videos a little complicated since I don’t get monetary value out of my efforts. But since we reached the monetization threshold of 1000 subscribers maybe I can convince the wife it’s worth it and it’s not some annoying hobby. Thanks for watching

Not having to pay shipping is always a good thing. But those things aren’t really vintage just something I enjoy. I’m sure some things are overpriced especially if they are rare.
