z archiver is the app i used to edit the files and you can find it on playstore

It still works but and you can use any file managing app in apple which has option to edit file names but I am not sure this method works on apple but you should try and if it works then let me know

If you are asking about how I am editing the names of the file then I am using z archiver app and in that I am long pressing the file i want to change the name of and after that the rename option shows so basically you need to press and hold for a second to get the rename option

When you update the game then the game resets all the files back to normal and then you would have to do the same steps again

It does actually but I am not sure if you will be able to do that with the "files" app so just use z archiver and watch the video again if the issue still persists but it works so their should not be any issues and i used it a month ago as well and it worked

I use this trick every month to unlock the new skins on my main account which I have been using since the day game launched in 2017 and also at first i used it on a dummy account to see if it gets banned but it didn't then i used it on my main account and then only I uploaded the video on youtube so you don't need to worry but if you still doubt then use thing method on a separate account and then use the method on the main account

I even used this process myself to change goldar and the new rita green ranger skin 3 days ago and it worked and also the process i showed works on any android device and most probably you did some mistake while renaming the file so watch the video and try again it will work for sure 👍👍😁😁
