I get some good stuff from the corruption boxes from time to time. The first legendary shard I got was from the corruption box. The first whole legendary character I got was from the corruption box as well.

I usually rely on market sales on legendaries, the ones with the bonuses tiers that give you one leader and assist shard each time you buy it, you're at least guaranteed to get one of each everytime they come up, ane you can farm them like that. Though you gotta try and save some crystals in anticipation and also be patient and wait for the legendary you want to acquire to come back on sale. That's one way to do it, and on top of that, you can also try accumulate or save up 5k coins for Morphin Mondays, when you can buy one legendary shard, leader or assist. It can be long, but that can help quite a bit for some legendaries.

Best advice for newcomers. Stick to the Power Pass and you're guaranteed to unlock a few legendaries early on. That's how I got characters like Trent and Blake. The challenge tokens also offer a lot of opportunities to get epic, or legendary shards too.
@@backpackninja6377 it's quite cheap normally though. So I recommend it, especially if you're looking into getting additional shards for current Rangers, or villains you might have unlocked. On top of that, you also get additional rewards like skins and taunts which you can apply to your current teams as well. You also get a morph symbol in relation to the current character of the month and it's quite a nice way of keeping track of the ones you've done and the ones you haven't. I'm currently doing the Hyper Force Pink Ranger Pass. :D Lastly, you're given the opportunity to do the challenges three times for free without having to worry about spending Zeo Crystals. Which is a huge benefit to earning tokens, very good bonus in my opinion.
The Chance Box feels like a complete scam. Spend $5 get 0 shards. Buy 4 boxes to maybe get 1 shard. Need 10 shards to play as the character. It shouldn’t cost a couple hundred bucks to unlock 1 character just to play as them at Level 1. Out of all my phone and console games this game is BY FAR the most Pay2Win and predatory. “Chance” at a shard shouldn’t be a thing. Put him up there 1 shard is $5 spend $50 to play as this character. Even then it would feel like a ripoff to spend the price of a brand new video game just to play as ONE character without power ups, upgrades, or anything to be said of either support characters. Heaven forbid you have a handful of favorites you want to be able to play as from time to time that all happened to be Legendary as their rarity. Costs more than a brand new next Gen console just to fuckin play as a couple characters in this game.

I just spent $25 to get Tommy Oliver boxes in Legacy Wars which has a CHANCE at 0-4 shards. There shouldn’t be a chance of 0, a chance of 0 is me not buying it at all. Yet that’s what happened. 1 Tommy Shard outta 5 boxes for $25. I need 9 more Shards just to unlock his basic Level 1. So if $25 gets 1 shard I gotta drop $225 more just to play as him? Power Rangers is more predatory than any other phone or console game I’ve played. $250 to unlock a Level 1 character just to play as ONE fighter yet costs as much as a brand new Nintendo Switch, that’s crazy…
