Startup Grind London Hosts Web Summit Founder & CEO, Paddy Cosgrave

Web Summit is one of world's best technology conferences. In 2014, 22,500 attendees learned from and met speakers like CEOs of Twitter, TH-cam, Netflix, Skype, Tesla, PayPal, Angry Birds, PayPal, Oculus VR, etc.
We invited Web Summit’s founder and CEO to share with us the story of Web Summit, how he grew it from a team of 3 to over 100 in less than 5 years and most importantly, his business networking secrets. Because we can all apply those rules in our businesses.
Paddy graduated from Trinity College Dublin in 2006 with a BA, MA in Political Science and Economics. He worked in a number of start-ups before setting up Web Summit and f.ounders in 2010 with Daire Hickey and David Kelly. In less than 5 years the Web Summit has grown from a small team of 3 people to a full time team of over 100. In 2015 Web Summit is hosting a number of international events including Collision and RISE, based in Las Vegas and Hong Kong respectively.
F.ounders is an annual private gathering of 200 CEOs of the world's leading technology companies which happens alongside Web Summit, has been described by Bloomberg as "Davos for Geeks".
Paddy is listed on WIRED Magazine's list of 100 most important people in tech.
