  • At first, I wasn’t thrilled about coming to this island. I even looked for accommodation in a nearby city for a potential escape. But I’m so glad I gave it another chance! I ended up falling in love with everything the island has to offer, even the giant lizard (more on that later!).
What captured my heart was the simplicity and extraordinary nature of life on the island. There’s no rush or worry about being productive - it’s all about truly living in the moment.
I also met some of the most wonderful and kind-hearted people here. I already know that I’ll return to this island one day - I absolutely need to! Terima kasih, Kapas! You’ve been absolutely amazing!
    Facts:
📌 The island is close to Kuala Terengganu.
📌 It is only 2 km long and has few resources.
📌 There are a few “resorts” and accommodations, and limited activities such as snorkelling, scuba diving, swimming, and some hiking.
📌 One side of the island is busy with human activities, while the other side is where you can experience nature. It is also home to pythons, rats, and monitor lizards
📌 DO NOT expect luxury; the island lacks maintenance, but it offers a truly wild living experience that we usually cannot “afford” in this urban, civilised world.
