Here are the products I highly recommend: Bed Wedge/Bridge Gap Filler: amzn.to/3KIpmQI BedBinder: amzn.to/3ZWjK9z Purple Sheets: purple.com/sheets/soft-stretch Purple Sheets alternative (way cheaper): amzn.to/3zGnrpj
Great video and product sharing! Question, after adjusting the bed and retaining it flat do you need to readjust the gap filler? It looks like raising the bed kinda moves it out of place? Thanks so much for your content!
HELLO. Came across this helpful video. However I have a few questions as this bed is boxed waiting to be set up 😆 I see with the links you listed the sheets help keep the bed together if i purchased them for that reason can you still use the regular comforter sheets or just the main heavy comforter? My Last question- right now I have a full bed mattress would this mattress be way bigger than the full size mattress?
Hi, thanks for the vid. I can see that the purple sheets alternative is only queen-sized. Do you know of a decent-quality cheaper alternative for king-sized?
Me and my wife hate the center gap because one of us end up sleeping in the “crack” while cuddling. With this wedge, can you sleep on your side directly on top of it? If so, are there any noticeable annoyances?
I guess that your bed is less common in America? We have also the same kind of bed here in the Netherlands and we are making the bed as following: 2x1 jute mattress protector on the bottom, 2: The both matresses 3: Splittopper one big one, covering both matresses together( not really needed, just if you like, we like it because there won't be a gap anymore, only a split of about 25 cm at top) 4: split molton for hygienic reasons.5: split fitted sheet. I prefer the splitted sheets and molton with only a split at the head end, not also at the food end. It stays perfectly in place even if you put the feet position from one bed high.We use both our single person duvet. That is also already common here for different practical reasons like you can choose what you like, no blanket fights and not both liking the same duvet. One likes warmer or one likes wool and the other likes down.
Hi.. so I see you are using one bottom sheet instead of the two twin bottoms. Just wondering why? I might try that now I use the two separate bottom sheets..
Hi Cynthia! Using one bottom sheet helps keep the mattress together and keeps the wedge in place. You'll want to make sure and use either the Purple stretchy sheets or a Jersey stretch sheet to make it work.
Why aren't the both of you staying on your side of the bed. The "gap" is not an issue with my adjustable beds. We use twin XL fitted sheets ... no problem with adjustability.
In case matresses have a zipper and they are the same than you can easily zip the matresses together or just buy a cover on the size of 2 matresses together so the mattresses keep together. Ali Express has many and real cheap.
@@baardgrindal5256 with split head, the head part can be adjusted different as there's 2 remotes, but the leg had to be same. From my experience, leg don't matter too much.

Can you link your base? I haven’t been able to find one with the side retainers.

Yes, tend to roll on the gap throughout most of the night. There is a slight raise but it's memory foam and comfortable.

My wife and I have split beds with the gap filler. The dog sleeps in middle and ends up in the crevasse between the two😂
I don't believe this would work for us. Notice as you adjust the head area up, it's pulling the sheet on the other side up as well !

Why not just get a pillow top mattress cover?
That lasted us a few months and eventually started to sink in. Wouldn't recommend.
Honestly, get a split head king. Trust me..
Concerned about gap and this solves part of it, but what if one person has different settings than the other (e.g. legs raised)?
