Mark Waid’s Action Comics story is 12 parts and the entire thing is shipping weekly and then the book is switching to a different creative team and going monthly.
to add to this, starting in january they're returning to the superman superstars model they were doing prior to waid's run, where creative teams come on for a few issues each.
I know the last story of arc of Something is Killing the Children was a looong drawn out arc but the following series of one and done tales have been great. Don't give up!
I was on the fence about Living Hell so didn't add it to my pull list. Hopefully my shop has an extra copy tomorrow! I've been really digging Kill All Immortals. Bloody and kinda has a John Wick vibe to it.
Absolute Superman #1 is good Something is Killing the Children #0 is great Batgirl #1 is really good The Ultimates #6 is phenomenal Cruel Universe #4 is boring
re something is killing the children .... Tiny Onion seems to be that way for all his on going series these day, same old same old, just trying to put a little different spin, I feel the laziness kicked in for him. I dropped most of his series now.
Free Agents has been pretty good so far Robbie! Excited to get the trade of Scarlett today so I can see what's happening before G.I. Joe next week! Edit: Also! Something is Killing the Children reads so much better in trade, I literally breeze through them in less than thirty minutes each time!
Pretty confident SIKTC just lost its way. After the main run ended before looking into Eric's childhood I think JT IV just doesn't have ideas of where to finish it
Will never waste my money on Dstrllry again. Sub par stories, art, and if you want to follow a series be prepared to wait months in-between issues. Don't waste you money guys
They dropped the ball with Kahhori. They should have kept telling her story and origin like the "What If" episode. Ryan Little was the writer for the What If episode and he was responsible for the Frame Story for the Kahhori comic book. Problem is, this book is written by multiple writers. It felt disjointed. If they are going to have multiple writers, go with an anthology format. It lacked cohesion. Kahhori is clearly well loved among fans, and Marvel still felt the need to use other popular characters to prop her up. She didn't need propping up. Just tell more of her story and origin. The writing is cheesy and poorly written. Amateurish. I was very disappointed. At the end of the book, they hinted that there could be more. Hopefully the follow-up to her story is much better than this.
I thought AB WW was the weakest of the three… I mean SM wasn’t amazing but still better then WW and not as good as Batman All I bought was SIKTC zero. JSA was absolutely awful in my opinion though

Surprised Public Domain wasn't on there! Definitely one of my favorite reads this year.

Some of those one and dones are some of the best of the series imo
Hell yes! One For Sorrow blew me away.
The dark knight was released before year one.

Thanks Robbie Station
Conan Black Stone on my pull list. I'm picking up Red Sonya, Gunslinger, King Spawn, and Scorched. Thanks for the vid.
Is Poison Ivy the best DC ongoing series, 26+ issues in? I think, yes.
Excellent work as always
You are not forgetting anything with JSA I felt the same.. lost

Something is Killing the Children #0 is great

Plastic Man No More is fantastic! Satire + tragedy works! I'll be sad when this is done.
Please, any other words to describe what you thought of a book besides “it’s alright”
