Yeah I mean, I get why they dont. I never do just one look 'tutorial' videos. They always flop. My 3 look videos seem to do okay still, so I'll keep doing those for as long as they keep performing okay

Like all three looks, couldn’t choose any over the other. You create different looks and have such a variety. Picked up this palette, it’s my first Juvia’s Place palette and I loving the formulas and colors. I see why people talk highly about Juvia’s Place shadows. That first look blew me away 😍😍 I just love you because you step outside of "the norm" & always manage to create funky looks that I can't see anywhere else. i have hooded lids and little to no space between my lids and eyebrows. i've started blending my "crease" shade all the way to my brows with no shame being a messy colorful being XD
We have to do what works for us. A lot of times, I just do a look the way I want & don't worry about the trendy applications. I usually end up with a lid shade that I extend onto the hood bc it's where my actual eyeball is, put one or two shades in my non-existent crease, & blend something in between the lid & crease shade. Lol if you don't know what I'm talking about, I have a tutorial that explains it on my channel. Maybe it'll give you two some inspiration? No pressure. We hooded eye ladies just have to stick together. Lol

As far as cut creases go, I don't think it's always needed. Right now, I'm pretty bad at trying to do it, so I decided not to worry about it. I am enjoying using the glue that you use to add a shimmer or a bright color. I don't know how to put it, but I have a line that's between the whole lid and then the bottom of the lid. There is where I usually add some kind of color and the glue works so well. My lower lid still looks like crocodile skin, but I don't care.
I know this video is older but I agree with what you said about cut creases! And I have hooded deep set eyes and it always transfer no matter what I do which defeats the point of it being a cut crease lol
I don't know why but i never remember to use more than 1 pallet when doing my makeup.. I want to get better at that, I mean I even have some I think need something more and I'll forget to just grab it out. I'd love a video where you talk about how or why you pick lipsticks to make the eye look. Another area I struggle with, I always want to go more colorful with my lip. but if I am wearing a colorful eye look I never seem to pick anything but nude

Every day is one of those days for me 🤣 I think I liked the first look the best, but I don't want to choose! I think for sure I agree that the palette is more of a companion than stand alone. I know I'd be stumped to try to mix all those colors in together without you to guide me. And doesn't everyone feel that way about cleaning their brushes? I try my hardest to not use too many in a week so I don't have many to clean on the weekend. I color switch constantly.
Lol yeah I dont think anyone really likes to clean their brushes. At least Ive yet to meet anyone that does 😂. I color switch on my towel or ill use a spot cleaning spray if they are too dirty, but sometimes they are still just too dirty to use lol
What you can do with colours never ceases to amaze me! I can see why neutrals are totally boring for you, I mean why have brown when you can have blues, purple, bright pink and yellow, oh and lots of bright shimmers (of course)!
Hi, so even though this video was made a few years ago, I really love the way you do your eyes. I loved the first look. You are so damn creative. When I typed in Warrior 3 Eyeshadow Palette, your video came up first so of course I had to watch your video. I am debating on whether or not to buy this palette. I really like it, but I have enough now, that I will be in deep sh** if I buy another one :)
Loved the 1st look, the 3rd was pretty as well. Now I'm on the fence about this palette, at first I didn't think that I wanted it but now I can see it's uses. I'll have to think about it, I'm kinda feeling done with buying eyeshadow palettes this year...
I like fake cut creases partly cos they are just easier but they show how pigmented the shadows are and tbh I am going to use them like that more often than not

Like 10 months late but I love when you do half cut creases. I hate cleaning my brushes so I have tons cause I buy more rather than cleaning them or I have brushes that I use for certain colors

I think the green/purple look is probably my favorite simply because I am really into that color combo lately. 💜💚💜💚 I definitely have no problem with you skipping the cut-creases in general, as I don't have the patience either. And I'd imagine that many people might like colorful looks without necessarily having the time or maybe even skills to be doing those, so it's probably refreshing to find a channel like yours that offers creative makeup looks without having to be so precise/technical. So glad you are being able to enjoy some fun time with your in-laws and extended family. That aquarium sounds awesome! I love attractions like that. I wonder if you were thinking of hammerhead sharks? They do have unusually shaped heads! 😊💦 🦈 💙💙💙

So funny, when you got to your lower lash line in the first look I was thinking the purple on the outer and matte blue on the inner part would look pretty. Right after I thought that you said that’s what you’d do😂 I think the first look is my favorite!
Yeah I dont very often. Yellow shimmers are hard to come by, and since I rarely do matte eye looks it just doesnt happen much even if I love yellow haha
1/2 cut creases is easier to master start with those once u get hang of it then it makes full cut creases easier. I dont do full ones much I do 1/2 ones alot alot more
Yeah half ones are def easier than full. I feel like anyone regardless of eyeshape can do a half cut crease and have it look good. You cant really say that about full cut creases

The first was my favorite, the 3rd was my second favorite and the 2nd my 3rd favorite lol I hate cleaning my brushes, it takes FOREVER so I use a spray brush cleaner in between. I personally like half cut creases and feel they work best with my eye shape, more mature lids and to get the most pop. What brush do you recommend for applying shimmer on the lid? I'm struggling finding a good one and don't really like using my finger (long nails I'm afraid of jabbing my eye n can't get in everywhere) I looked up shark with a unicorn horn n Google came up with a Narwhal so check n see if that's what you saw.
Thanks! I love my Mac242 for shimmers. For more precision the m422 from morphe is great too, but it doesnt pick up some formulas as good. I love my spray brush cleaner too but i forget to use it before i start filming lol

I really like it! Id say its not quite as long wearing as the EL, but I get a solid 10-12 hours every time before I feel like I want to wash my face. Its a bit thicker and dries quicker so you gotta work faster with it, but the finish is beautiful
I don't really see the point of cut creases. I think it's wasting the concealer unless you really need it for the shadow to show up. I always love you videos. You are so creative.
I actually dont have a black shade i only have 2 little palettes and one is pretty much just shimmers. It sucks barely having any shades i do the same looks so much.
Gather ‘round children. Grandma has a story for you. I got my first shadow brush in 1988. It was a double ended brush from Victoria Jackson. (I think she was a Hollywood MUA. She sold through infomercials.) It was angled on one side and rounded on the other (both flat). I used that brush daily until I discovered TH-cam and the brush world....last November (yes, 2018). Little brush went to a friend’s tween. A bit later, I noticed people mentioning washing their brushes. Washing? Huh? Really? That was news to me. Needless to say, the Victoria Jackson brush put in 30 years of service without ever getting a bath. 🤫
I have black eyeshadow but never use it. I will use my deepest matte shade in whatever color/look for depth. My fantasy self loves the idea of cut creases, but my reality self has no patience for perfection.
Oh man. I took my goddaughter and her friend on the observation wheel in Vegas in February. They had the best time. I discovered about 2/3 of the way up that I'm apparently afraid of heights though 😱😵

Maybe next time you do your makeup, pick out two random palettes that you want to use and force yourself to use a couple of shades from each

All I basically do is half cut creases 🙈 Having hooded eyes makes it harder to do full cut creases or halo eyes

Every day is one of those days for me 🤣 I think I liked the first look the best, but I don't want to choose! I think for sure I agree that the palette is more of a companion than stand alone. I know I'd be stumped to try to mix all those colors in together without you to guide me. And doesn't everyone feel that way about cleaning their brushes? I try my hardest to not use too many in a week so I don't have many to clean on the weekend. I color switch constantly.
Lol yeah I dont think anyone really likes to clean their brushes. At least Ive yet to meet anyone that does 😂. I color switch on my towel or ill use a spot cleaning spray if they are too dirty, but sometimes they are still just too dirty to use lol
What you can do with colours never ceases to amaze me! I can see why neutrals are totally boring for you, I mean why have brown when you can have blues, purple, bright pink and yellow, oh and lots of bright shimmers (of course)!

Hi, so even though this video was made a few years ago, I really love the way you do your eyes. I loved the first look. You are so damn creative. When I typed in Warrior 3 Eyeshadow Palette, your video came up first so of course I had to watch your video. I am debating on whether or not to buy this palette. I really like it, but I have enough now, that I will be in deep sh** if I buy another one :)
Loved the 1st look, the 3rd was pretty as well. Now I'm on the fence about this palette, at first I didn't think that I wanted it but now I can see it's uses. I'll have to think about it, I'm kinda feeling done with buying eyeshadow palettes this year...
If you dont love it, dont buy it. If you need to talk yourself into it, its not the right one 😉

I like fake cut creases partly cos they are just easier but they show how pigmented the shadows are and tbh I am going to use them like that more often than not

Like 10 months late but I love when you do half cut creases. I hate cleaning my brushes so I have tons cause I buy more rather than cleaning them or I have brushes that I use for certain colors

Some really beautiful looks here, Annette! I think the green/purple look is probably my favorite simply because I am really into that color combo lately. 💜💚💜💚 I definitely have no problem with you skipping the cut-creases in general, as I don't have the patience either. And I'd imagine that many people might like colorful looks without necessarily having the time or maybe even skills to be doing those, so it's probably refreshing to find a channel like yours that offers creative makeup looks without having to be so precise/technical. So glad you are being able to enjoy some fun time with your in-laws and extended family. That aquarium sounds awesome! I love attractions like that. I wonder if you were thinking of hammerhead sharks? They do have unusually shaped heads! 😊💦 🦈 💙💙💙

Yeah I dont very often. Yellow shimmers are hard to come by, and since I rarely do matte eye looks it just doesnt happen much even if I love yellow haha
I prefer channels that dont do cut creases mostly because I'm way to scared to do them myself lol
1/2 cut creases is easier to master start with those once u get hang of it then it makes full cut creases easier. I dont do full ones much I do 1/2 ones alot alot more

Yeah half ones are def easier than full. I feel like anyone regardless of eyeshape can do a half cut crease and have it look good. You cant really say that about full cut creases

Love your looks as always! The first was my favorite, the 3rd was my second favorite and the 2nd my 3rd favorite lol I hate cleaning my brushes, it takes FOREVER so I use a spray brush cleaner in between. I personally like half cut creases and feel they work best with my eye shape, more mature lids and to get the most pop. What brush do you recommend for applying shimmer on the lid? I'm struggling finding a good one and don't really like using my finger (long nails I'm afraid of jabbing my eye n can't get in everywhere) I looked up shark with a unicorn horn n Google came up with a Narwhal so check n see if that's what you saw.
Thanks! I love my Mac242 for shimmers. For more precision the m422 from morphe is great too, but it doesnt pick up some formulas as good. I love my spray brush cleaner too but i forget to use it before i start filming lol

I really like it! Id say its not quite as long wearing as the EL, but I get a solid 10-12 hours every time before I feel like I want to wash my face. Its a bit thicker and dries quicker so you gotta work faster with it, but the finish is beautiful
I don't really see the point of cut creases. I think it's wasting the concealer unless you really need it for the shadow to show up. I always love you videos. You are so creative.

I actually dont have a black shade i only have 2 little palettes and one is pretty much just shimmers. It sucks barely having any shades i do the same looks so much.
The purple color is the one calling me!

I got my first shadow brush in 1988. It was a double ended brush from Victoria Jackson. (I think she was a Hollywood MUA. She sold through infomercials.) It was angled on one side and rounded on the other (both flat). I used that brush daily until I discovered TH-cam and the brush world....last November (yes, 2018). Little brush went to a friend’s tween. A bit later, I noticed people mentioning washing their brushes. Washing? Huh? Really? That was news to me. Needless to say, the Victoria Jackson brush put in 30 years of service without ever getting a bath. 🤫

I have black eyeshadow but never use it. I will use my deepest matte shade in whatever color/look for depth. My fantasy self loves the idea of cut creases, but my reality self has no patience for perfection.
Dont be scared of black shadows, its so versatile, because it can be used to deepen up anything!

Oh man. I took my goddaughter and her friend on the observation wheel in Vegas in February. They had the best time. I discovered about 2/3 of the way up that I'm apparently afraid of heights though 😱😵
