If you have the mode set to “stretch” it doesnt change the pitch of the sample, but if you have it at “resample” it will change the pitch

i like to stay anywhere from 140-160. 140-145 is a good range for songs like backrooms and hoodbyair, whereas 150-160 is a good range for songs like eviljordan

its based on how much you pitch it down. So if your original melody is at d# minor and you pitch it down by 300 cents (3 notes) then it will be at c minor now since you are counting down by 3 (d# to d to c# to c). hope this helps!!
