i saw him the very first time in paris 15years ago,he was unknown,he was playing with members of his family (from isle maurice) in a coffe named 'the cavern",place where beatles played for the first time. he was phenomenal with a fender bass or on keyboards,he seemed to want to play and play and play...a pure bomb bass solo 20 30 min... one or 2 months after somebody told me he played for sixun,michel alibo was sick...he learnt checklist in the train (between paris and toulouse,5 hours).... six months or one year after he played with joe zawinul syndicate... phenomenal bassist
It is a Fuji X30. Not the best when there is lack of ligh but It worked well with some TH-cam edition (wich atm is not avaiable). Glad you like it. Yes, Linley is really a monster musician and a nice guy too.

I’ve heard and seen a lot of hot bass solos. This just sounds like a lot of pointless virtuosity on display without any soul or meaning.
