After 4 months i can say ... you have ALWAYS believed in what you are together as a family. You are a music force, i have read Ryan ' s article about how it was so difficult for you to spread your force but you did it, holding on to the fans ... I am happy and proud of what you have created. And so happy to be a jk fan .... thank you for being so sincere and pure in your art! And This is one of my favourite songs...

I always feel bad that i never did see orgy live back in the day. I was definitely a fan of candyass. But what lets me sleep at night is the fact that its really not the same music. to me, its a completely different artist entirely.
Parts of this remind me a lot of Depeche Mode's "Enjoy The Silence" [Edit: Listening again, I think it might full on be a sample from that song he's using] . Love this song though - had been wondering what ever became of Orgy. Orgy is one of the few bands from the Nu Metal scene that really holds up in my opinion - mostly because of the strong influence they took from 80s new wave and synth pop, rather than going for the rap rock sound most of their peers were doing. The music sounds a lot less dated. Hell, they were a bit ahead of their time with the new wave revival stuff, now that i think of it - considering bands like The Killers later took that idea and ran with it. Candyass and Vapor Transmission are still usually in my phones mp3 folder. I did fall off after they kinda strayed from that synth guitar sound with the third album though. But it's really a shame they're thought of as a 'one hit wonder' (and even worse that they're considered a one hit wonder who's one hit was a cover song - their original work is great) if people remember them at all.

@ailonid If it is influenced by anything it would sound more like the Failure cover of Enjoy The Silence than the actual Depeche Mode original version. Listen to the Failure cover and you'll see what I mean. The guitar textures Ken Andrews uses are a lot closer to what Amir uses on this song than what Martin Gore was doing on Violator

Amazing! Sounds like New Order...At least I got to see these guys in their original band Orgy during the Candyass tour before the left.

@ailonid it is very similar to Enjoy the Silence, just a few different notes/switched around, not a bad song to get influenced by imo.
