The water looks better than that in Pattaya but is still too murky for snorkeling. How far away from Pattaya one needs to go to have as clear a sea as the one in Phuket?
@@macthai2024 yes almost, I have been there but going on islands takes too much time and u r tied to the boats schedule and also you have to rent a scooter on the island as u can’t bring the scooter u have in Pattaya and scooters on the islands run out when there are too many people. So over all the islands might be a feasible option for those having a boat but they don’t cut it for me.

I think Koh Larn, 7.5km away from Pattaya is comparable with Phuket in terms of water quality !
