I grew up around the time when Marvels and Kingdom Come were starting. I was always moved by the art, and now I am actually doing art in that style because I love it so much! Thank you for the inspiration you gave me to be an artist :)

Alex I work at a comic shop in Maryland. It happens to be one of the oldest comic shops, if not the oldest in the DMV area. Comics have hit a wall, mainly the price of the books, but primarily the targeted demographics. What age groups are comic companies marketing there book too? Think about it? If you wish to sell anything you need to know your audience. That's why sales have bottom out with comics. Much to costly and kids can't afford comics any longer.

This single comic changed the way I fundamentally felt about the art form when I was 20 years old in 1994 and I knew then I was looking at the work of a master. Thank you Alex you changed the comic world forever.

Any comic alex does I read he has been a huge a part of my life any time his marvel art gets on a shirt I get it my room is covered in his posters. I just want to say thanks alex for bring your art light and positivety in my life

As much as I like Alex's work, I've never liked his treatment of flame. He seems to treat it with the behavior characteristics of hair, or cloth, which it is not. Too "stylized" for my technically oriented mind. But, that's just me...
