Hi Melina, the reason for the serious expressions in old-timey photos is often about the long exposure times of the cameras. Any little movement caused blurring and it was felt that keeping a stone face was easier than maintaining a smile for the exposure time. 😊 These ticket tags are way cool! I can’t wait to make some. Thank you!
Good morning. This is the cutest idea. Thank you. You laughing at yourself is so funny. We all do something not knowing what we left off. 😂. I laugh at myself often. Love ya.🥰
😂The pocket that was suppose to be but wasn’t went right over my head too. Thanks for being normal. Your laughing shows that you can make fun of yourself and have a sense of humor. It sounds good to hear it.
I do love these and perfect for my box of scraps that is staring at me. Thank you for the laughter with my coffee this morning. I wish I could commission miss Katie for that little ephemera holder. Such another cute idea.
These are lovely and practical. I really need to build up my stash of ephemera, AND use up some of my scraps doing so. It was so great to hear your wonderful laugh . ☺♥
That is such a neat idea. Thank you for leaving you little oops in. You have a wonderful laugh. I have to tell you about my oops. I purchased a crop a dile like the one you have nearly 2 months ago. Main reason for buying it was to insert eyelets. I did not know until I watched Edith making the banners, that you could punch holes with the crop a dile! I had been using a separate punch to make the holes.
Melina it is so great to hear your laughter again! Brings happiness to my heart! These stacked tickets are so cute! And they seem simple enough even for me to make! I sure wish Miss Katie had an Etsy store! She makes some very beautiful items! I'm so glad your fierce guard dog was on duty to make sure it wasn't imposters when Brandon and Bethany came home! 😉 😁😄🙃 Lila Rose is so adorable! And when she put her paw on your hand! Awe... so much love for one of her people! I enjoy her, every time she makes a guest appearance! Thanks for sharing another fun idea! Hugs from South Dakota. 🤗
Melina I thought you were going to glue the pocket on the three sides and tuck the paper behind. When I saw you try to tuck it in, I cracked up laughing. Thank you for sharing and the laughter. Have a Blessed Day Girl ! 🙂❤️
I love these! I didn't catch what you did with the one that wasn't folded until you started laughing and then I started laughing too! I needed that laugh, today, more than I can tell you! Thank you! ❤️ 🤗
We’ll Melina, guess what?? You’re not the only one of us that has had to laugh at their crafting boo boos! That was a funny one. Glad you can laugh again! 😀
These are great tags to make! I was scratching my head when you cut the top notch on the single fold tag. You made me smile because I do that kind of thing all the time! Thanks for keeping it real! Love your scrapbuster videos! Happier New Year for you all!
My great grandfather was a photographer and a sheriff in a sleepy little farm town with very little crime. He got paid by the crime. My grandmother told me stories about her grandparents and they were hysterical. People choose not to smile in those early pictures because they could not move for 60 seconds. Even a deep breath would blur the picture. I can’t remember when it changed to 30 seconds but by 1900 cameras were everywhere. It was easier to hold a slack facial expression than a smiling one before cameras evolved. In the East there used to be a belief that if your family were all together and smiling in a photo the gods might get jealous.
Hi Melina! I was watching you intently (or so I thought) and it didn’t dawn on me that you hadn’t folded it in half! Still was really cute and my fav too. Was great “save” to just glue it onto the journal page. Thx for another nice video.

Yay! Welcome! We love Julie!!!!
💚🍀
Love your laugh. These look like something even I can do. Maybe not the corners. What kind of ephemera holder is that?
It is something a viewer sent me. We’ll have to try and replicate it!

Hi Melinda
What is the little booklet you use and where do you get it please.
Love today's craft 💜
That was a gift from a viewer. She fussy cut items and put them all in that, that she also made.
Does Ms Katie have an Etsy to shop for her pieces? Love what you have created
She doesn’t that I’m aware of. We’ll have to try and replicate that little ephemera holder.

I don’t know that she has a shop of any kind. I’m not sure. I’ll ask Mom to see but I think I’m right on that.
