This movie (Telugu) is the only Indian movie in which got remaked in most multiple languages like Tamil by Vijay,hindi by Salman, kannada, etc and became industry hit in every Language, thanks to puri jagganath sir for such a great movie of India and mass angles of heroes and twist of police officer, even the comedians Ali and brahmanandam played brilliantly and this is one of the best movies remembered long long time

The reason the guy went deaf was because he has hearing problems. The movie even foreshadows in an earlier scene, which is unheard of in Telugu cinema.

Since you already loved "athadu" and eventually got into Indian movies, pls try and do more of Trivikram Srinivas's movies. Also, SS rajmouli, for obvious reasons. You haven't yet reacted to "eega" and "magadheera". Fight scene is a blast in the latter. I should suggest "maryada ramanna intro song". That would leave you gasping. And steve, don't you dare leave. 😋

I'm not a big fan of 1 Nenokkadine. The editing bothers me. I've always been really picky about editing.

Yes editing seemed to be a problem to me too. It is an amazing subject and the direction is good too but the editing made it look boring. Had it been crispier, it would have done wonders.

my next suggestion is watch SS rajamouli (bahubali director) eega movie... terrific drama, you will definitely love it. watch movie not action because you will miss the feel of movie. For action watch raktha charithra 1 bus attacking scene, different way of taking or bang bang climax fight scene.
