Many years ago I had the chance to shoot a 303 lee Enfield rifle on a military 1000 yard range at a 6 foot x 6 foot target. Lying down, 15 rounds didn't hit the target at all!

Now I have seven different firearms. I have learned everything I can, practice anytime I can. My biggest want right now is a big piece of property. Where I can go and just shoot, whenever I want to and camp out there. God that would be heaven!

That was awesome. I thought it was an accomplishment hitting an 8 inch plate at 300 yards with my ar15. Can I go shooting with you? I am willing to travel to nv from az....
If you are hitting a 8 inch plate at 300 it would not take you long to figure out how to hit that 1000 yard target. As for being shooting buddys before I showed somebody my shooting spots we would have to first get to know each other than do a little shooting together. As for long range and a AR this friday I will be posting my 1 mile freehand video with my 16 inch 300bo AR. NDR

The farthest I have shot freehand without optics is 782yds. The farthest I have shot without optics is 1000yds. I know I suck.
