The insane thing is that even after being shelled relentlessly and torpedoed, followed by a hellish multi-thousand foot sinking to the bottom and rough slide down an underwater volcano, the wreck is largely intact. Aside from a small section on the stern and the weaker section of the command tower it’s still intact. The stern of the titanic had a similar sinking and it’s a wreck. Even the swastika where Hitler himself stood for a picture is still pristine.
If that biplane didn’t get the lucky hit on it’s rudder, who knows what that thing could’ve done. Hell it turned the pride of the British fleet into dust.

i mean it'd probably have fucked up the allied convoys for a while until the british navy found it again at which point we'd have a recreation of what happened IRL, or what happened to the tirpitz
despite it's massive size, huge armor and huge guns, bismarck was mainly a propaganda piece to show the industrial might of germany and it's blatant disregard for the rules set for it after WW1. What i'm saying is bismarck was one hell of a battleship, but it was not one hell of a warship

Yeah, it was an impressive battleship, and if it had been in the German navy in WW1 it probably could've wrecked shop at Jutland, but by the 1940s the age of the battleship was over. It was going to be sunk by aircraft or a vastly superior British navy at some point no matter what. The Yamato and Musashi were even bigger and more powerful than the Bismarck, but air attacks destroyed them just as surely as a thousand other ships during WW2. And the Hood was a very old and outdated ship itself, it was only sunk by a spectacularly lucky shot by the Bismarck, much like the Swordfish pilot who jammed the Bismarck's rudder got off a spectacularly lucky torpedo.
As Sundowner said it was mostly a propaganda piece.

Also, with the Titanic (if memory serves me right), they cut corners… a lot of corners. But the Bismarck? That's a ship for war. Likely they didn't cut as many corners. The Bismarck was going to survive being sunk more than the Titanic.

I love your work, espacially with Powerwolf songs, but this one.... well it's not as good as you've done before. There's too much effects that have nothing to do with this song, the xylo is way to loud, out of context and out of rythm, the organ chor is also way too loud and not in rythm... In fact I personnaly find this version far less powerful than the original, I feel something like a child version
But it's only my feeling and your job is great, I encurage you to carry on, but this one was not a success for me

You know Bismarck's own captain doomed the ship, when torpedoes were incoming, the captain underestimated the armour belt and ordered hard to port. Thus the torpedoes had a clear shot at the rudder, dooming the ship.
