Regarding Wise Blood, I can't believe these two got it so wrong. They both write it off as just plain silly. All they saw is the comic characters. The whole point is all these characters are shiftless dopes because they want to undermine Christian faith. At the end, the main character realizes he is lost and Jesus won. The only flaw is it shouldn't have been a contemporary era.
