MY LIFE HAS NEVER BEEN THE SAME AGAIN. While dating I introduced my future wife to it. She watched everything. Thats how I knew she was the one. Glad they're now on TH-cam, but nothing beats full episodes. Alone it is a joyful experience. With company it binds you together for life.
Don't forget DJ douggpound. He's a quite important person in this. Most of the shows aesthetic is his work. The weird extra sound effects, the visual effects, etc.

I believe he was a creative consultant for Awesome Show and gave them a lot of professional guidance, but as far as the 'feel' of the show, most of that is T&E and their amazing team of editors, especially Doug Lussenhop & Ben Berman.
These compilations are great. I've seen every episode a dozen times. Sometimes it's hard to pick one when I'm in the mood. These videos hit the spot. They remind me of the less "forward" moments that I appreciate so much. And in a nice binge-y dosage. Fuckin perfect. Thanks, dude

Directly and unambiguously, yes. This show’s influence cannot be understated. Random/weird for its own sake almost never works, but somehow they made it work and (most of the time) it doesn’t come across as forced. Almost nobody can pull that off.
That first one is straight from the commercial that always came on at dinner time in the 90's. The one with the woman and her mom and she asks her "hey mom, do you douche?" Classic
It’s the extreme subtleties like the lighting of the sketch starting @2:50 that go unnoticed the first time you watch T&E because there’s so many layers of comedy and subtly happening simultaneously
