Like all of us, I migrated from carts to DE shaving. It took some time to learn the skills, but the shaves I get now are far superior to those I used to get from the carts (Mach 3 was my preferred system). BUT wet shaving takes longer, and even slight inattention can lead to nicks and irritation. The acid test for me is how a razor performs on my neck (because shaving one’s cheeks is easy as, and good performance on cheeks don’t mean nuthin). Did the heated razor give you an irritation free shave on your neck? If it did (and you said it shaved your chin well), then it’s a thumbs up. I must say, your face didn’t look irritated at all! As for the cost - man, wet shaving is a money pit! If we only used one DE razor, one brush and one soap at a time, then maybe… But we all know that’s not how we ride. In summary, I’ve only ever heard good things about the heated razor, so it might be worth getting one to include it in my rotation. I’ll think about it…. Cheers. 👍🪒
Chin did good. Got some tugging on my neck. I’m all about spending the money, if it’s worth it, I just don’t know if it is. If you’re interested I might be interested in sending this your way if you’re in the states 🤷
Sorry, Greg, I’m about as far from the States as you can get (Perth, Australia). If there was tugging on your neck, though, I think I’d have to pass on the razor anyway. The search for the perfect shaving implement goes on…

Yeah I was thinking of doing this as a pass around razor but would have to take out a second mortgage for cartridges
You said it perfectly, “a gimmick,” it just makes me snarl at the idea. I don’t understand why anyone would pay ANY amount of money for this ridiculousness. Seriously, “hot towel feel?”
I am new to DE wet shaving-just over a year. I have never experienced a more confortable shave in my life! And I daily shave! I could NEVER daily shave with a cartridge razor. And I dreaded shopping for cartridges-just made me sick dishing out 20 or 40 dollars for 5 or 10 razors. Just ridiculous.
Anyhow, never again will I use the cartridge razor. Thank you Greg for the video. Just reminds me of how much I hate cartridge razors and LOVE DE SHAVING! 😂
Thanks for watching! The necessary cost of cartridge shaving drives me bananas
Get a safety razor and gett better shaves for less
Couldn't be better explained.
150$ hahahaha! We both know what's a high-end razor for that budget.
😎👍🏼
Yes sir!
Junk
Save your money, this razor is crap. After a year, stops working. Searched web for solutions and lots of folks have same issue. Gillette resolution is offer 30% off for a replacement. Well, still over $100 and not worth is for just another year.
Screw this junk they can add 15 blades lll never use anything but de razors. Ever again. Future of shaving is in the past. Might go to straight edge next
*Who else said just shut up* 😮
What?
I thought that your video was overly and unnecessarily theatrical and rambling
I don’t care
I thought this comment was overly and unnecessarily douchey.
Lots of bucks for a cartridge razor. Back to the future!
