    It looks pretty nice, but not even including the replacement cartridges, $200 is pretty steep for any razor. Obviously, if it's not going to break your bank, then whatever - a luxury is a luxury. But if you'd have to save up to buy it or even question it it's worth the price, it's probably not.

    First, I'm not sure if a heated razor really produces the same effect as having a heated towel on your face for a couple of minutes before the shave. Still, I'd be interested e enough to give it a go but $200... There's no way the technology is worth that much. I'm just not convinced anyway.

    Honestly folks, this isn't the same as a hot towel shave.. The point of the hot towel is a hot towel actually sits on your face, while the steam "opens up" your skin and softens the hair, while remaining on your face for a minute or so... A quick stroke of a heated blade is not giving the same results. But instead just giving you a swipe by heated shave. It's a gimmick. A very expensive one. Especially since you're still doing all the work and not receiving better visible results. For that price just buy an electric shaver.
    I recommend buying a fogless lighted shower mirror.... Your face is getting all the steam like a hot towel shave, but continuous, you can rinse your blade off very quick and wash your face off while showering. Less of a mess than in the sink.
    I got my fogless LED mirror with its own squeegee at bed bath and beyond for like $30-60. Great investment. Now shaving is quick and easy and I can do it while showering

    why test it on men that dont have a thick facial hair

    • @peacelizard
      @peacelizard 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      If you have thick facial hair, you're not going to want to take it off with any razor other than maybe a straight razor and I definitely wouldn't trust myself to do that. So you're going to want to hack through a majority of it with electric clippers first. It'd be like trying to clear a trail in the jungle with an electric string trimmer and not a machete or chainsaw first

    • @drakulian7456
      @drakulian7456 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@peacelizard Yeah, that's bullshit. Unless you're cutting off a Grizzly Adams size beard, there's no need for a straight razor, and even then you could just buzz-cut it with shears and then shave it with something like this. I would never buy this though, it's an expensive gimmick.

    • @mrq1701
      @mrq1701 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ingrown hairs are usually caused by shaving against the grain. If shaving with the grain isn't close enough for you, shave at a 90 degree angle to the grain. Your skin will feel almost identical to shaving against the grain, but you will reduce the likelihood of ingrown hairs. Shaving with the grain is still the easiest on the skin.

    Love the razor but it is too expensive. Should be $100 and blades should be the same as fusion proglide

    Those razors with more than 3 blades are hard to shave the mustache since it's as as the whole mustache are so they are stupid and uncomfortable** best razors are the ones that have 2 blades or 3 Max so you can get all them hairs in the mustache*** and the heated thing is cool ** but the price is like if it was 1000$ for it

    Awesome video and review. Liked and subscribed. However, Man, this things looks great but 200$ is WAY to expensive! There is no way this razor model cost them anywhere near that price to produce. I'm guessing that it must've costed a pretty penny for the design and patent and maybe the original inventor/invention. Don't know but there is no way I'd pay that for ANY razor regardless of what it does. I'm pretty sure many folks feel the same way.
    I could kind of understand a high end electric shaver being in that price range I guess. Even then, still a no sale.

    That's a joke. That's a lot of money for a razor that generates heat. Just for comparison, I bought my Panasonic ER-DGP82 hair clipper for the same price.
