In answer to your question, yes I hv told a lie and my parents found out and I paid a hefty punishment for it. I got my ass whooping I couldn't sit for a wk. Since thn I nvr told a lie again. My lie was I ditched school and went wth my friends to San Francisco for the day when I'm supposed to be in school. The cops came looking and told my parents I wasn't in school. My dumb ass called the school and told them that I was home sick. But thn told my folks I was going to school and tht I hv basketball game and won't get bck until 9pm. So yup I got caught and my mom and dad whooped my ass.

We women need to love ourself and control our emotions. Know when it's over and move on. Stop loving someone who doesn't love you back. I took the same decision few years ago. Best decision of my life. I'm now happily remarried to a great man. Give yourself a chance to be happy !

There was nothing wrong with you forgiving him. It’s the right thing to do, he just didnt do his part and stop cheating so sure you had to leave. This woman is just angry to say "Kuv mob thaum hluas koj mob thaum laus" as if she'll never get sick. Everyone's time will come. She's saying it to make herself feel better. Lots of people, especially Hmong men, has gout (ko taw vwm)... likely because eating white rice for every meal and a "thaum twg los zaub kib, thaum twg los zaub haus" diet, NOT because he kicked her. Gout also comes and goes... nothing like what she described as being bed-ridden. Fact of life: The good gets abused, die young, long painful deaths.
