I think a lot of these stories are just from the older generation. Now days, it could still happen but I think most relationships are equal partners and most of the younger females wouldn't tolerate that kind of misbehavior for too long.

I agree with what you said about some Hmong men. Some Hmong men especially baby boomers and gen x- they feel that are so entitled and believe that a wife should cater and take care of them.

I agreed, being single is better than married. U just need a companion to travel with & live life. Most couples that stay married don't even take care of each other when they're old so why waste time being married when u can still have a man/women in ur life & not be married.

No what you said about Christian people aren't always true. Christian or not depends on the individual. I know a Christian man who claimed to be a big believer in God. He put God and his church people before his wife and children. He tend to his church people every single time they ask him but not to his family. Whatever request his wife asked, he postponed it days or weeks later before he actually do it. He's also a cheater. So just because people are Christian doesn't mean they are good people.

I love my Hmong people and would never want anyone else. People claiming that other races are better but still keep coming back to our Hmong community cause they know deep down they will never be accepted by another race. Every race has their good and bad. You choose what makes you happy but don't go claiming that others are better just because you think they are better than you as a Hmong individual.
