Thank you so much for your sweet comment, Alex! Frozen Bubbles are amazing and magical. They are one of my favourite things to do when it gets super cold :)
I'm so happy you enjoyed the video, Phyllis 😊 Most of the time it's just me and the little birds outside on these cold days. Watching Nature create these frozen wonders is worth every second ❄️
I put the bubble mixture recipe in the description of my video: How To Make A Snow Bubble :) The temperature outside is important but the deciding factor would have to be the wind. As you see in this video, even the slightest wind will deflate them. If you have an outdoor shed or something protected from the wind, it's better to blow the bubbles there. Also, you have to be patient. It takes quite a few tries before one works...but it's worth it!
Thank you for your comment 😊 The ice crystals form around the outside of the bubble only. From the angle I'm filming what you see are ice crystals on the front and back of the bubble. It may look like they're inside but they're only on the outside of the bubble. I hope this helps ❄️
1/17 on made long time ice bubble Exactly some of small ice spikes that are grows on bubble just didn't let the bubble get frozen full and ruins his ball form

The bubbles are very fragile, so the smaller the bubble is the less chance it will burst. But if you had no wind at all you could definitely try a big bubble. Let me know what happens if you give it a try :)
Hi there! Thanks for your question :) I'm blowing on the bubbles which makes them collapse because they don't last longer than a few seconds anyway most of the time. This way I can start making a new one!
So lovely experience! Why do bubbles burst? Why don't they remain crystallized? Only two bubbles didn't explode and were lifted into the air... How long did they remain floating? Some remain for longer, such as the group of three. Why? Adorable moments! If we made a hole just a little smaller than the bubble and blew one into the hole, would the bubble crystallize, in contact with the 'outer wall' of snow? I was thinking: Bubbles are so pretty, why are they so fleeting?!! Lovely moments! 🌬💦❄❄❄🥤🧼🫧 🫧🫧🫧 ⏳⏱🎐
I'm so happy you enjoyed watching this video, Elizabeth 😊 The bubbles react differently depending on the temperature outside, the humidity in the air and the strength of the wind. Most of the time the bubbles remain very fragile and that's why they burst or collapse lasting for only seconds. Although they appear to freeze into balls of ice they are not strong like ice ❄️ Sometimes they stay in place for a few minutes and even float away with the wind. But they usually break as soon as they come in contact with the ground. If the bubbles appear to remain longer it's because the weather conditions that day allowed them to freeze and become stronger than usual. But they still remain very fragile. If we blew a bubble into a hole in the snow it would definitely freeze faster. That's why I always blow my bubbles onto a layer of snow. You'll notice how most of the time the ice crystals start forming from the bottom where the bubble touches the snow. I like to think that the bubbles are like so many beautiful things in Nature and in Life - beautiful and fleeting, as if to remind us to stop and cherish them as they appear 😊✨ Thank you so much for all the questions! I wish you a beautiful day.
Did you use water to make the bubbles or was it like a washing up liquid mixed with water? Love it btw it looks awesome and I really want to try it! ❤️❤️❤️💕
Hi Rebecca :) Thanks for your question! The frozen bubbles never really harden up so you can't touch them at all. They remain super fragile and eventually will collapse all by themselves.
It should be at least -5 Celsius/23 Fahrenheit. The colder the temperature the better and faster the ice crystals form. But there must be no wind. Check out my 'How To Make Frozen Bubbles' video for all my tips! Hope you get a chance to make some bubbles :)
Can you make bubbles with oxygen? Eg using a can of oxygen instead of your breath Wonder if we would still see the snow flakes appearing inside the bubbles because oxygen is super dry - there may not be enough water vapour to crystallise
This gives a new meaning to the word Snowglobe :)
So true! ❄️😊❄️
This is literally so calming, I need a 10 hour version ❤️

- What mixture do you use.
- Is there anything that makes them last longer (or shorter)?

@@ukaszSzymanski_szimano Ice crystals may form starting at O° Celsius/32° Fahrenheit but I find -1O° Celsius/14° Fahrenheit (and colder) even better.

So cool
Do snowflakes ever dream
Of becoming stars
Shooting through the galaxy
By Saturn’s rings or Mars;
Are they content to fall,
To cluster and to whirl
Delighting red-faced angels,
Cherubic boys and girls;
Are they satisfied to glitter
In January’s chill and gloom,
To crystallize and crunch;
Do they ever grumble and moon
When snowplows and shovels
Toss them hither and yon
And emaciating snowmen
Fill in for hydrants on front lawns;
Do they have stellar fantasies
Of Swirling with the Stars,
Of twinkling like tinsel
Beyond the ides of March?

I haven't tried this yet! Why not give it a try? 😀👍
😂😂 I remember doing that 😂
I dont know what happened i headed to school after😂

great video, just wondering if you are popping them or if they explode naturally once they reach a certain point?
Hi there! Thanks for your question :) I'm blowing on the bubbles which makes them collapse because they don't last longer than a few seconds anyway most of the time. This way I can start making a new one!
Why did you pop the successful ones afterward? Just make a bunch of them around your garden, would be so pretty
I pop them because the fun part is watching the ice particles form. Also, soon after they freeze, they collapse.

You can find the recipe and instructions on my How To Make Frozen Bubbles video :) I hope you get a chance to try making one!

Try doing it on ur hand ( make ur hands soapy first)
I don't think it would work because your hand is too warm. Even if you have mitts on. The surface has to be as cold as the air outside - freezing ;)
