I already own a CZ 457 22LR Stainless Synthetic and love it. I have a Meopta MeoPro Optika6 2.5-15×44 attached to it (maybe a little overkill for this rifle, but it was in a sale) on a CZ picatinny rail, as well as running an Ase Utra Eco suppressor and have a bipod attached to the front sling stud. It's super accurate (basically if I miss it's my fault and not the rifle) and reliable as I don't believe I've had any feeding issues or failed rounds, not yet at least anyway. With the suppressor on it's very quiet and an absolute pleasure to use 🙂I'm toying with the idea of getting a .22 WMR mini-set for it... maybe...
I have a 457 American which i think is by far the best looking of the 457s and with the nicest proportions. It also shoots extremely well.
I am excited to see the Royal preform. I am up in the air between the CZ Royal and the Steyr Zephyr II. Take care, and thank you for sharing.
Both are amazing.
i just picked up a 457 synthetic 20in. I'm not disappointed at all. i put an arken epl4 4-16 on it, and it shoots fantastic.
I have been shooting a CZ 457 Royal for 3 years now. I shoot CCI Velocitors exclusively through it, because they provide target grade accuracy and serve very well for long range shooting! If you appreciate the feel and looks of a great walnut stock on a good blued steel barrel/receiver, the Royal is a great choice. And it will shoot!
So well designed and a beautiful sporting rifle, and then some moron decided to have the model number laser engraved into the stock??
@@williammoore6953: Do you need to see a counselor to help you deal with the horrible "trauma" you're experiencing, because European Firearms Manufactures don't do things specifically the way YOU think they should?
@@rt66rc86 Not trauma really but I do appreciate your sincere concern. They designed and manufactured a beautiful firearm, then tatooed the model designation on that beautiful stock. Perhaps Ferrari should use cans of Rustoleum to spray paint the model of their cars on the doors? I mean since that is a European car, after all. You might want to pull that weed out of your ass before the roots go too deep.
@@williammoore6953: Your counselor will simply advise you NOT to purchase a firearm that so deeply offends your tender sensibilities and to stop dreaming about it!
As for your suggestions concerning modifications to European sports cars, it's possible that your "red neck mods" are something you may have to keep within the confines of your back and front yards!
And finally, you appear to have a form of homosexual interest in other men that is connected to gardening! You might consider keeping that stuff in your closet!
I have the lrp, and it’s one of my favourite rifles. Fantastic quality
Love my CZ457 VPTMTR, but excited to see how these do! Great content, keep it coming! 👍🏻❤️🇺🇸
I’ve a spare slot on my ticket for .22lr very tempted to get another CZ currently i’ve a 2 455 varmints the stainless caught my eye when it first came out I do wander if they’ll ever do a stainless varmint
Luv the Synthetic one 😍 Great Video Chris 💯💥💥💥💥💥💥💥
Hah ha, there was me checking out CZ's website after your excellent Scorpion review and considering that synth/stainless as an alternative practical vermin tool, then low and behold... Nice overview of variants on a long running (though increasingly expensive) platform. As I also run the Helix HD on my Anschutz 1417T, I'd be very interested by how you get on with its height on the SS - does that comb height work? Decisions decisions!
I like that Stainless
I’ve got one in camo 22lr it’s a bit ammo fussy hit hates RWS but not bad with cci
I usually have a few options😉
@@chrisparkin431 do me a favour try RWS please 🙏🏻
Me again ! Where can I buy the steel magazine? Thanks for your help Chris
I bet Prince Charles would be proud to own the Royal model and equally proud to see his subjects doing the same.
Chris why are some of the 457 variations not available in 17HMR ?
Or in 22 WMR? I would like a black synthetic stock and stainless hardware, heavy barrel...
Hi Chris, great video. I'm waiting for CZ457 Royal myself. I'm hesitating between Helix 4-16x44 and 2-16×50 raptr-1 is the second worth the extra money in your opinion?
Do you need the greater magnification range?
@chrisparkin431, not really, I have Titan 3-18x50 on my Tikka T1x and it has plenty of magnification for rimfire. I'm looking for bright and light scope as I'm building the kit for metallic silhouette shooting.
Chris is the stainless available in 16 in barrel??
Have a look on the CZ website
Please do the review of the cz457 lux version
I have a Royal. They are all pretty much the same other than looks and stock material you know
I am interested how good are the iron sights on the lux version. I like the idea of shooting without optics. Maybe one day when the oportunity arise you will do the review with that one also
@@pajapatak6983 very unlikely, nobody in the UK is interested in iron sights on a 22 sporter so the importer wont be bringing them in
@6:41-6:53 pure double entendre 😂
Whatever floats your boat😏
I like it,CZ-457 but it isn't easy to get from lndia.
Will the stainless barrel burn out quicker just wandering how many rounds before you need a new barrel
No it won't. Very very few people ever truly wear out a 22 barrel. They usually just get dirty and need to be cleaned for accuracy to improve
Work horses them rifles.
Wrong Birmingham.
Yours is likely named after ours😉...Alabama?
WE have Leeds, Bradford and a two dozen more towns named after the Old Country@@chrisparkin431
At least 4" longer than necessary.
