one of the little twins are not safe around that baby and the older chimps need to discipline them quick. One of them stepped on the baby and repeatedly punched her in the stomach. the other twin the bigger one tried to stop her and that is why they were fighting and she is the one who torments Auntie A. What s mean spirited little chimp.
Where's mom during all this? And why is the baby not crying out in distress? Also to top it off one of the twins picks Yotsuba up upside down at 5:53 😆
this is the first time seeing the twins hurt yotsuba.their rough with her but repeatingly punching the baby in the stomach is new.kazumi was nowhere to be found.then the brats turn their fury on akiko.poor old aunt lefty.

The twins are 4 years old. It's completely normal when a Mom chimp has another baby that there siblings carry the baby around and help with other things to give the Momma chimp a break. Wild animals have there own ways of doing things. For Example; Kazumi allowing the twins to take the baby. It's giving her a break but teaching the twins also how to take care of baby so when they are old enough to because Mom's they will know how to do it.

Where are the staff at they should do something about this those twins should not be around this baby that baby is surely in distress it's probably got internal injuries it's just laying there while it's being punched
As time goes on, I'm sure the twins will see Yotsuba less like a doll, and more of an actual baby sister. Many other people have pointed out that the zoo allowed this pregnancy to happen a year or two early...hell, the twins haven't even been weaned yet.
They'll get over their sibling rivalry situation eventually. This behavior has been seen many times before in wild chimps. As long as this doesn't turn out to be a Flint/Flame situation, then Yotsuba will be ok.
The keepers could not put her on birth control since it would cause the mother to stop producing milk for the twins.
And here I thought Momoko from Tama zoo was the worst mother for birthing fubuki… well, my opinion hasn’t changed, but she’s a close second with these little psycho twins.
This is normal chimp behavior they are not delicate like human babies the twins got roughed up when they were infants also go back and look at the videos that’s why chimps don’t let anyone touch their newborns until they’re months old
