This video is amazing! An encyclopedia of clear embossing powder techniques. What a labor of love to put this video together, and so generous of you to share it with all of us. Thank you!
Hi Natalie! The technique with the Memento was fascinating, I have never come across that technique before! The embossing folder techniques was something I hadn't seen either! The bonus technique was the cherry on the top! TFS, as always, take care. Hazel 👍💖
Another great video. My husband swears I watch so many of your videos so many times I’ll developing an English accent. I live in Virginia USA. So a little English accent with my southern one may sound interesting. I love your videos. I do see how you come up with all your ideas but m thankful you do!
Thanks for a great video, with absolutely wonderful ideas! I too use clear embossing powder, but your furnished me with ideas I’ve never known…like the stained glass ideas. Thanks for clear, concise and simple instructions. You’re a great resource!
Great video with all these clear embossing techniques! New to me is using the mica powder on top before heat setting, as well as the bonus technique with glitter. Going to try those soon. Question about the tiles and the “glass in lead” window technique: doesn’t the molten embossing powder break or crack if it goes through the mail and those mailing machines bend the cards? Cracks could be part of the charm if that is what you aim for… I think I will try that out. I use another ink pad; Versafine Onyx Black. It stays wet a bit longer and use embossing powder immediately. I always use clear embossing powder over it since it doesn’t go well with alcohol markers. I like the intense black instead of the Memento ink (mine is not really black, no matter how many times I use the reinker). Thank you for sharing so many ideas👍
Thanks, Anne! I'm not aware of any heat embossing cracking when the cards go through the mail. I think it's flexible up to a point. You could definitely try a cracked look too. I think that would be fun. x
Dear Natalie. Wonderful video!! You have shown a detailed embossing with different techniques. I’m so glad that I got your help in this technique. I really like your videos as there is no promotion of any product and you just concentrate on giving the information. So so thankful to you. Hope to see many more 👏🏼👏🏼🙏🏼💜
Great tutorial with clear and concise information. I consider myself a fairly experienced crafter but still learnt something new. Definitely going to have a play with my pigment powders! Tfs x
Your cards are (clean and) simply lovely! (Please pardon the pun!) Thanks for sharing these techniques, it's so helpful to have them all gathered together.
I really enjoyed this video very much of course some of the techniques I’ve known, but there were a couple of things in there that I had not thought of before or an easier or different way to do them and some might not known at all or I’ve not tried at least so I really enjoyed this video very much. I saved it in my library actually so that I can go back to it and hopes of not losing it so thank you very much. Was a great video.!😊
I like these ideas. Thank you. In my continued quest to declutter my craft supplies I found things that I had forgotten I had such as pigment powders and a heat gun! I especially liked the pink heart.
I’m really very new to card making but I LOVE your videos & teaching! I inherited a lot of clear & white powders so I’m looking for ways of using them on cards- I try & have one shiny aspect, when appropriate, on cards. ❤🇦🇺
So many tips and ideas, Natalie. Thanks so much, I learned so much. I have a few tubs of embossing powder and to be honest, I rarely use them. I really need to get to know them!! Love the stained glass window effect. I actually have a stained glass window stamp that I can colour and try out! Thanks x
Natalie, this video is amazing. I was familiar with most of the techniques but #9 and the Bonus technique really piqued my interest. I'll be saving this video and experimenting with the techniques. BTW, I agree with your comment about black embossing powder. I don't use it because it makes such a mess. I'm perfectly satisfied with stamping with black ink and embossing with clear powder. Thanks for compiling this technique video.
You are just amazing!!! So many ideas. It would take me days to do what you do. 😂 Just beautiful Natalie and thanks so very much for sharing your ideas. ❤❤❤
